During Ambubachi(for 3-5 days), people are not supposed to perform puja at temples or at their houses and all agricultural works are forbidden as well. Before closing the doors of the temple, white clothes are kept inside the temple and after 5 days the white clothes turn out as red clothes. Earlier I was hesitant in taking admission in the college that I was alloted just because Assam ko tab sab dusra desh samajhte the yaha! But jab admission lene gyi main mummy papa ke saath, we discovered that it’s a beautiful place with very welcoming and lovely people!
