NY’s very own skate legends Gino iannucci and Pat hoblin paired up to bring a true ny exclusive collaboration: this collection is made entirely in NYC and available worldwide in limited quantities. The collection consist of a custom embroidered chino pant and t shirt. The pant is embroidered with the De La Soul daises, peace sign and stars based off their “3 feet high and rising “ album.
The idea to work together came up in conversation on the street in passing Between Gino and I. I started it as a half cocked joke stating “ we should do a pant... Gino’s Chino x pats pants” the seed was planted and a year or so later Gino hit me up to pursue it.
Coming from the skate community Gino is a living legend who I grew up seeing and looking up to as a kid in ny. Having the opportunity to work with Gino on this collaboration is something my inner child could have only dreamed of. I’m honored to make that dream come true for myself and all the young skate boarders out there. This is a activation, bringing generations of skaters together. The video piece we put together is a reflection of that, showing three generations of skaters. Passing the torch kinda moment, if you will.
