Thats cuz the FRS its bad implemented in this game, I know is better if they optimize the fucking game cuz raw frames are always better but they have 4 month and if they fix the FSR it could be a good option for low PC's If they do well with the FSR we can play without that ugly ghosting, (or you can use the DLSS if have 4000 Nvidia GPU) In anyways if you can tell us how the game works without the FSR it would be a great reference to know minimum requirements.
50-60 fps for me on med/low setting with no frame gen on 1080p with a 3070 and r7 7800x3d 32gb of ram, what a terribly optimized game 😢 and when I use amd frame gen it makes my character ghost and that drives me crazy.
It is quite playable, I was expecting a lot worse. Tweaking settings was worth the time. Amd fluid motion 2 gives a very big boost to 6000, and 7000 series cards.
@@kingdrofd588 What I have seen is that older GPUs got the bad end for the beta RTX 20xx and GTX 10xx can't run the game properly my friend with a GTX 1070ti 8gb, has random black screens that only revert back if he changes to any other resolution like a reset of some sort and barely hits 45fps on framegen Ultra Performance meanwhile a GTX 1660 Super 6gb, will get 60fps on framegen Quality without any issue

The base frame rate is abysmal, hence why I am using the settings I left in the description, and repeated in other comments. In some occasions, AFMF2 can work with Borderless windows games, this is one of them.

What drivers do you use? i have the same rig, ryzen 3600 and rx6600 but with 32gb ram, and with frame generation enabled, i can get only 80 fps or so on medium settings
@@zilverman7820On an AMD gpu, you can open the adrenaline overlay using "Alt + R". Once it shows up, you can click on the "Gaming" tab, there if your game is already running you can see the option "AMD Fluid Motion Frames 2" and you will be able to enable it. If not you can just choose your game from the detected list and enable it, next time you boot the game it should work.
now I have a nicer frame of reference as to how my rig will handle wilds. the difference in this demo for me is that I have a 5600g instead of a 3600. how does it play with fs3 + frame gen enabled was the input latency detrimental to the gameplay?

But as I mentioned in other comments. I am using Amd fluid motion 2, which by default enables radeon anti lag.

Damn it looks so good.. I have an r5 3600 with a rtx 3070.. DLSS gives me only 40-50fps.. with mid settings. AMD fsr has frame generation and it works so much better. Only thing is that my cpu has a 80-90%usage and gpu sits at 2%… I don’t know. This game seems not really optimized for some specs

Bear in mind that AMD 6000 and 7000 series GPUs have something called AMD fluid motion 2, which significantly boosts perforamnce/frame rate. But it's disappointing that nvidia's good frame generation is only locked for 4000 series. If there is an update available for your motherboard, check the changes, and look up if any of them improves cpu performance. I say follow instruction on how to update your motherboard's bios, unless it hasn't been updated in a very long time or ever since you bought it, I don't think an update can fix the issue. I believe it's fully Capcom's incompetence when it comes to optimizing their open world games (Dragon's Dogma II was even worse). We do know this is an older game build, but if history is anything to go by, I wouldn't put my hopes for the game to get optimized in 4 months. Expect it to release in the same state as the beta minus the glaring and obvious bugs.
Apologies for the late reply. I use a powercolor fighter rx 6600, if you already own a similar GPU, just stick with it and lower settings, or use techniques I used. In the case you have no GPU, I advise you spend a little more and get a better GPU. The choice always depends on you and your needs/budget.

It's really unfortunate how badly optimized the game is, their reliance frame gen tools and the likes is quite disappointing, I'd much rather have raw native performance than using all this tweaking, but really when you don't have the choice, you just make do with what you have.
@@kingdrofd588 Yeah, my 6600XT is worse off in this case since it draws more power than the standard 6600 while performing just about the same. I ended up turning off frame gen and FSR, and just put the game on 720p true res and just deal with it. Something about the weird grainy and floaty frames FSR and Frame Gen gave is just not really my thing.

You're welcome! Regardless of Monster Hunter Wilds or any other game, I don't think you should get my GPU especially if you are aiming for higher resolution (1440p for example). But it all depends on what you currently have. I'd recommend a 6800xt for 1440p, it will pair nicely with it, should you find a good deal on a 7800xt, then that's your go to. On nvidia's side, it's hard to say, I'd recommend looking at reviews and see what pairs well with your cpu, the price is a huge factor in my opinion. Bear in mind that in lower resolution, cpu is usually the biggest bottleneck.

why is my game running way worse with better hardware? 4060ti with ryzen 7 7700, 1080p lowest settings, DLSS quality, frame gen on, i fluctuate 90-120 fps in combat
@@Pokepunk As I mentioned in the description and other comments, I am using something called Amd fluid motion 2, it's similar to nvidia's DLSS Frame Generation, the difference being it doesn't need to be implemented in the game, it can be enabled for most games regardless of the developer's implementation.

You cant use AFMF2 if you are not in fullscreen. The game does not support fullscreen in the beta

I am using the stock cooler, I don't think you should be scared unless you are overclocking or doing something to the CPU's safety limit.
If you pause the video you can see just how grainy and smudged the game look. Truly one of the AAA games of all time.

@@Pokepunk You'd be correct, 2.5 to 3x worse sounds about right, but never below 30 fps from what I have tested.
