Live aus Berlin is the first live release by Rammstein. The CD was released on 30 August 1999, the VHS followed on 14 September 1999 and the DVD on 29 November 1999.

Sorry,but this performance absolutely beats the wings. Said wings are surely very impressive,but this is something else… The girl in the burning cage,the crowd singing with her, Schneider’s burning drumsticks, the interlude with only the guitarists’ whistling, the whole energy… unbelievable performance,gives me chills every time

this is not a miracle, many pyrotechnicians work on their shows, including Tilll, who is a licensed pyrotechnician himself.
obo’s cage was wrapped in flash paper. Illusionists like David Copperfield use it all the time as it’s designed to do one thing very quickly which is burn. Plus if you pause it at 15 second mark you can see her at the back corner of the cage away from the front and the flash paper doesn’t go all the way around.

I listen Rammstein over 15 years, and this riff still hit me hard
I appreciate Richard pretending to whistle, it's impossible to whistle into a Shure SM 56 microphone without wind noise.
I love this performance, the entire DVD is awesome. Bought it in 2008.❤️✨👍💀💥🔥.. the backing vocals are fantastic as well. This is one of my favorite Rammstein tunes. Thanks for this entire channel. It's really great 👍.
Hey, did you happen to notice (on the DVD/VHS) of this concert, that the panning of Richard and Paul's guitars were weighed heavily toward Paul, or panned left?
No matter what audio system I played it on, without manual tweaking Richards guitar was very muted.
Only is certain parts was Richards guitar turned up.
You can notice in herzeleid a lot.

Too bad Till doesn't sing (live) like this anymore, in fact he doesn't sing like this since like 20 years ago. Still one of my favorite bands of all time.
The man is damn near 60. Its like saying Brian Johnson should have the same power in his voice as he did in '91/'92 on the Razors Edge tour.
Till has sang live like this for much longer then that. Yes there are certain vocal ranges that he can’t reach anymore but even in 2005 during volkerball he was still in his prime. He’s full of talent no matter how old he gets. Most bands from the 90s sound like ass and don’t put much effort into preforming anymore. And when you compare Rammstein to these other older bands they still have that same legendary Rammstein passion, even if their energy on stage isn’t as good as before. They still got it!
It's not been just 30 years, his vocal chords are definetly not the same, but the fact they were in their 30s in this show.

Awesome. Quick thing though, from the Christian outlook (angels), they believe that they don’t become angels after death. Angels are completely different and actually lower on the hierarchy than people (souls in glorified bodies) in heaven. In fact, it says at Judgment day we will judge the angels. The angels are just supposed to observe, send messages, and report back to God. That’s it. Not that anyone here cares, probably. Not a Christian anymore but was raised in a Christian household.
I thought the same exact thing about the song. Mabey, that is the point of the song. Don't want to die and become an angel.
What about the idea of guardian angels? Do they exist in Christianity?

I don't see any subtitles
You have to switch it on. There is something called "subtitles" up there, then you go over and chose your language, or you let it be to listen to such music, if you aren't even able to do that. I am tired of people, who do not even try the different symbols, which are showing up on the video itself. How lazy can you get humanity?

Yes It Is, it's "sein", so the lyrics Is "Gott weiß ich will kein Engel sein"

Because "God knows I don't want to be an angel" in german is literally "God knows i want no angel be" (engel SEIN)
