Still one of my favorite Moby songs ever. The first time I heard it I was instantly in love with it. My other favorite Moby song is Why does my heart feel so bad. Always loved that one too, like really love it!
In audio engineering school right now, iv'e been studing for hours feeling exhasted but watching this video makes me want to never stop thanks for the inspiration Moby!!!!
long been a fan of Moby, but this was the first time I saw how he constructed the songs. It's really architectural, gothic like, throwing in analog gargoyles here and there, but blending them nicely
No matter how much you give tutorials, if you don't have this immense talent in your blood, like you have, I'd never come up with something so magical. But it is an interesting tutorial anyway.
thanks for a great vid, it's nice to not follow a specific time constraint and defo gives a fabulous organic feel to the result. I feel too much emphasis is on quantization after the fact detracting from humanization.
If I were a musician I'd be the kind who gets stuck at the title and won't start anything else until I've got the final release song name figured out. Lol

Like this series, should do more! :D
Moby is a genius.
Hallo Mobi das is Gänsehaut Musik Pur
Nice. Never thought to use an Lfo on vocals before to get that haunting effect.
You're my favorite geeky musician
Hey Moby! I think you should call the song "Almost home". I don't know why but I think that would be a good title. :)
Great Idea :)
Really interesting
Woa you use GRM Tools ! It's a powerful plug-in we are learning about in sound design classes ! =)

So interesting! Is the music in your head first?
I’m very confused. That is Wayne Coyne, not Damien Jurado.
👍

Unfortunately, this video is not available in Germany, because it may contain music for which GEMA has not granted the respective music rights. :(
