One possible pitfall with putting yourself in sub 2 if you're making squads that are not too restrictive on experience is that a certain percentage of people doesn't know about /d and talk with /p, someone has to tell them for the first time, for this reason I stay in 1 when I make squads.
GW2 has a fluid group composition system, where things like healing, dps, tanking, and special roles can come from anywhere in the group. The meta is one healer support, one dps support, and 3 dps, but you can break down those roles and share the burden of the actual elements of healing, dmg, tanking, mechanics, etc. amongst the group as a whole in any combination you can think of. Not all methods will be as potent or successful, but there are actually plenty of viable alternative setups for your group. That's a bit too advanced conceptually for the scope of this video, though. I just wanted to demo the more regular side of group construction through the lfg. This is just the simplest and most common way to set up your group for maximum success in finding a group quickly through in-game channels.

So the holy trinity of tank, dps, and healer is now just the couple dps, healer?
