Hey everyone...thanks so taking the time to check out our vlog from Salem! If you're interested in part two, you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/1bGt1G5c5ZE/видео.html
My husband and I visit Salem each year in October. We love it and look forward to moving there in a few years. Very very cool place. I’m loving this vlog! Sending love from Maryland
Oh we saw Red's in someone else's video too, and going to Red's is something we are looking forward to. We're heading over from Los Angeles, in the spring of next year.
Just subbed to your channel. You guys are the best. I just returned from Salem 3 weeks ago and after watching this video, I immediately booked a return trip to stay at both the Daniel's House and The Hawthorne Hotel. I took your advice and booked the same room you had at the Daniel's. You guys are literally living the dream....in more ways than one. All, the best to both of you!!!
Oh that’s awesome!! You’ll have to let us know what you think of your stay at The Daniels House. Make sure to let them know that The Evergreens sent you! Thanks for all the love! Our channel will have a lot more content this year as we have some big trips coming up. Appreciate your support!
My goodness I just started this video and within the first 10 seconds it felt so calming! Great production value, really nicely done - it's not too loud or the shots changing far too fast, it's great. New sub :)
@@TheEvergreens I hope I dont come off as sappy, but I think ur content is perfect to unwind at bed time with & fall asleep to - since I'm new to ur channel, I'd start with a playlist, watch 7 or 8, and completely transport myself there - crisp winter air (i live in Dubai so it's super refreshing 😊), tasty chocolate goodies, lovely sea food... and I'd fall asleep with travel & road trips in my head :) so thank u 🙏😇
@@StellaAdler_ that made our day! 💗 thanks so much for your kind words ☺️ we’ll have a lot more travel content this year! and we’d love to visit Dubai someday!
My wife and I stayed at the Daniels House 20 years ago. It was run by Kate Gill, who had ran it for decades, and she was super awesome. Unfortunately she passed a couple of years ago. Miss her.
Hi George...what an incredible place. We heard many great stories of the former owner. She was definitely loved and a part of the Daniels' House rich history.
Aww, thanks Monica! We hope you guys have a fantastic trip...but really, I think it would be hard to have a bad trip when in Salem. :) We'll be posting our part 2 of Salem later this week.
Ah, thank you so much, Kailey! Hope you make it one day too...theres no other place like Salem! We definitely want to make it there some October when the leaves are changing!
salem has become a wonderful city.it hasn't lost any of its odd charm that i found in the mid 90s...it has improved where it needed it, and stayed exactly the same where it should have.that is such a rare occurrence. i noticed a long time ago that salem is easily connected to neighboring cities and highways so its great to branch out from, but the layout of the roads and the ocean make salem a city that almost no one needs to cut through to get to those places from a neighboring town/ city.there is almost always a faster, more efficient route from place to place not including salem itself. this gives the city a fascinating and wonderful attitude. no one is passing really through, everyone here wants to be here. i love salem so much.the residents ,the salem state community, the religious community, the LGBTQ community ,the city employees( every department including the police)the renters, the homeowners, the small business owners, the restaurant owners.i think you get the point. i feel blessed to own a small part of the city with some real estate investments. Salem is my forever home.im so happy you two shared your experience here
Hey guys! We really hope to see you guys soon! We're always keeping our eye on your schedule so hopefully we will be able to catch one of your gigs on an off day for us. Thanks for checking out the videos.
Aw, thank you so much for the support! We absolutely love Salem.. This was our second time there together and always talk about going back. Have you ever been there in the fall? That's been a goal of mine for a long time.
@@TheEvergreens yes I’ve been 3 times during October! But be warned, LOTS of tourists & long lines everywhere. I’m excited to go in June for the Salem Arts Festival🖤👻🎃
Come in September! The Halloween month of October is long lines, long wait times at restaurants, and bumper to bumper traffic. Trust me, I live here. Loads of Halloween all year and September is actually getting busier every year. Here we say, "September is the new October".
Lovely video! I'm visiting Salem this year in October (day before and on halloween! :D) for the first time ever (booked a hotel and everything in Salem I'm sooooo stoked!) and first time in Salem period since I was 15 or so (I'll be 29 this year) safe to say I'm looking forward to my visit. I really enjoyed this video and I subscribed because I already love you guys! :)
Flying up to Boston tomorrow morning and then renting a car so we can visit Salem. I’m so excited and have a short flight since I’m coming up from jersey. Haven’t been on a plane in like 8 years but I heard the flight is only like a half hour. I know you are supposed to wear masks outside in Salem cause it’s hard to social distance. Did you have a hard time taking pics without masks? Hope you both are having fun, stay safe
Coming from living in Salem number one you guys are beautiful and you made this video so amazing! Ps, I just subscribed and I don't know your names but beautiful blonde you remind me of Carey mulligan in the great gatsby! PS you both are beautiful! If you ever come back to Salem I can give you 2 so many recommendations!
Hey Paul! I think their rates change each month. I guess it really depends on when you go and which room you decide to stay in. I’d recommend just checking the rates on the website if you have an idea of your travel time.
