- It is day two of our Disney Cruise Line vacation on the Disney Dream cruise ship and we have a day at sea! We take a look at the kids clubs, try the breakfast on board and even manage to break the Aquaduck water slide! We take a mixology class before having dinner at Animators Palate and end the night off with fireworks at sea!

The servers get your name and picture distributed to them on the first day. The good ones take the time to memorize faces and names. I've had bartenders on Disney remember me from one cruise to the next though. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. 🤣
They do the same thing on Royal Caribbean. You also have the same servers in the main dining room every night and they keep track of your preferences. Ours brought me my amaretto sour every night, often without my asking (we had the alcohol package so it was included). He also remembered that I loved the croutons on the Cesar salad, so they saved some for me in case I ordered the salad the next night and wanted the same croutons for it. Also, I've decided Dakota is my spirit animal. Lol...thank you guys for these videos. I lost my grandfather this week and I really appreciate the distraction. Love you guys!!!!
A woman named Laura (Im pretty sure) who worked at Shutters knew us from prior cruises and she walked around the counter to get our attention and say hello! When my now husband told her how he was going to propose the next day, she set up a shutters studio appointment for him and notified the photographers circulating in the dining rooms! I hope to see her again this winter! It's crazy to me how much cast members care!

I am LOVING this series so far. The love you have for Koda and for DCL truly shines through. I've actually been getting quite emotional because your reactions to different things on the cruise reminds me of how much love I have for EPCOT Center of the 80s. Also that callback to OG Star Tours was AWESOME, and I was cracking up at the ending. Great job, Adrian!

I have had a AquaDuck breakdown from me once as well. It was a completely different situation. I was riding by myself, and was too light. My raft stopped right after the first turn. A cast member came to help me around 10 minutes later. The ride was shut off when the cast member came. The cast member and I had to butt-scoot through the track up to the first drop. We then went down some stairs right in front of the first drop. The ride was then closed for another half hour. I was then known throughout the cruise as the kid who got stuck on the AquaDuck!

I really like your vlogs and I hope you continue to make these LONG cruise vlogs in the future! I really dont like when youtubers do short vlogs for cruises and other vacation/ travel related things because I feel they dont show or tell enough lol and are less entertaining... so these long vlogs you guys do are AMAZING 👌 Keep it up!

Adrian so glad y’all had a great time. Only have one point to make. You keep saying the Disney difference in that the waiters remember your name when you see them in other venues. I’ve been on 12 Carnival cruises and their waiters, waitresses and other team members that have met me and learned my name have done the same all over the ships. I think it’s a cruise industry thing.

Okay that's a good tip, play bingo! I didn't know they gave away cash prizes. Also on our 2022 Disney Dream cruise we couldn't even wear regular glasses. We had to convince them that we were blind without them. But glad they were able to get the go pro out!!!!

Can someone walk me through a bit on the tips system? How much do you tip to the servers? The fact that they take the time to memorize you face and name is amazing as well as the detail they put on organizing your room. Do you tip them every time you see them or at the end of the trip? Thanks a lot!
You tip at the end of the cruise, it will be included in your stateroom bills. I believe it’s $13.50 per day and that includes your room steward and the dinning team who serves you. You will get envelopes to give additional tips for anyone who you feel goes out of their way to serve you and you want to reward them with extra cash.
Wow, the inside shot of that "Mickey Waffle" perfectly illustrates why I hate Belgian waffles. They're always so doughy inside and not crispy outside.
Love me a classic waffle, but they aren't sold in any restaurants anywhere. So, my house is the waffle haven thanks to a Cuisinart and Pearl Milling Company.
Are the short cruises worth it? I haven't been on a Disney Cruise since I was a kid and kinda want to take the family on one (it we can afford it too lol!)
We enjoy the short cruises but we love the longer cruises more! You get more time to relax and not worry about catching all the activities on board with the longer cruises
Thanks for sharing all the changes that’s going on. Looks like a great trip so far. With that said, I have a cruise booked on the Fantasy for September 2022. I really hope things are back to normal before then. Some of the changes seem disappointing. Saul Away party for instance was sad in comparison to what it used to be. And 10 minutes in the pool, then having to wait in line? These are reasons I pushed my cruise back.

And probably totally unnecessary. Going in the pool is a literal bleach bath, just make everyone dip their masks and you could pack them in like sardines. Also, why are the pools so SMALL? That's backyard size and there are thousands of people on that boat.

Disney Cruise Line as converted all of there ships buffets with new food, better quality food, and more. So yeah!
And yes, today, the Mickey waffles are back! With two flavors, original, and churro!
10 minute pool times? I think it should be at least 15, so that makes 4 an hour. I'm the type of person who can be in the pool for hours relaxing
