I appreciate the way they escalated the joke so much. A lot of the time when people join a voice call like that with a celebrity, they use it to gush about the celebrity, but just COMPLETELY commiting to the bit made it so much funnier.

the issue is roblox isnt a game its more so a game platform that like epic games has very few restrictions and this one leans closer to younger people so then most games suck but if you really look you can find crazy good ones bhrm5 is great aswell as alot of others

Don't get me wrong. Doug is a cool guy. It's just that older gamers nowadays don't have alot of faith in Roblox, which is understandable considering a good 95% of it is pretty sloppy.
And even if there's a good game, you could probably find games on other platforms that are better.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trashing these Roblox devs. I've played all kinds of games and I still find Roblox fun to come back too even if not all the games there are masterpieces.
I'm just saying that it's hard for people to give Roblox a chance. Especially with all the controversies regarding the company coming out recently.

Kind of crazy the random guys Doug added on Discord worked out for the "podcast" so well. There are so many ways adding random people to a call could go horribly wrong but they seemed to understand the assignment and had pretty good chemistry with Davey and each other.

Doug played ETOH like a normal person and made me realize how silly the game looks to regular people. I have hundreds of hours on the game so I sometimes forget how weird and unappealing it is for new players without context.

And I say that from experience, I’ve beaten 150 towers.
