Currently I'm just being smart and frugal with my money, I'm in the green 47% over the last 23 months and l've accumulated over $70K in pure profits from DCA’ing into stocks, ETFs, dividends and futures. However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait.
Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.
completely agree. I have been consistent with my profit regardless of the market conditions. I got into the market early in 2019 and the constant downtrends and losses discouraged me, so I sold off. I’ll never give true financial advice, but depending on your capital gain, you may want to look into parking 10 to 25,000 into short term futures like $uvxy and maybe 100 K plus into either and I bond or some other one year guaranteed yield product. It’s also not stupid to run the numbers and invest in high yield, dividend stocks to at bare minimum recoup your tax burden as I assume at 250,000 you will be paying a good chunk back to the government. In all honesty, I would hold onto some cash and wait for a good real estate deal instead of playing with securities if it were eye with 250,000 that I was unsure of what to do with.
Have to wait for the right deal, but right now it’s looking like a 3 to 5 year recession/bear market so you be smarter to take your cash build your credit and utilize 1031 exchanges and enter the rent space as it will most likely be the most consistent revenue stream for the next 5+ years while the housing markets supply and demand issues are resolved

if your stock has a value company. You must hold it. If your stocks are unreliable like you are gambling for their progress. That is the right time when you move it out to another reliable company. Good yield doesn't mean a good company.

Instead of 2 indicators you can use, moving average ribbon indicator for four moving averages which is a built in indicator.
Or use 10 in 1 MA indicator
Traded this for a week on paper. Works pretty well for 10 min+ time frames. Not so much for shorter time frames. Basing it off a 55 means itll be less responsive to short term price action

Set a trailing stop..I’m a beginner too…I set a trailing stop today and made 14k…I started trading on EXAS pre-market at 8am at 18%, my trailing stoped was set for a 1% drop, so I got kicked out around 25%…I believe the highest this stock went up to was 26% I’m learning something new everyday…i profited $27k in 2 weeks by simply following the company earning’s reports and current news trends. I would say I did lose about $8500 in total from some rookie mistakes but I’m still making an overall profit.

@@savagecartoons4267 oh just one more thing. Everyone has a different way trading supply and demand. My best advice, for anyone trading, pick a strategy or system that makes sense to you. Test it by doing back testing or even better get a Market simulator. I recommend doing this for 2 months and then do Demo Trading for about 6 to 9 months before opening your Live account. Be sure to record your progress. Also, create a trading journal. This is going to be very important. I hope this helps.

This only works in slow trending markets, ie, when Vix is extremely low and times are more certain.
You’ll lose more money than you make over time due to stocks/indices/currencies etc ranging around 4 times more than they trend.
In a nut shell this will lead to being ‘whipsawed’ out of trades and your account will be wiped out in quick succession. You’ll have many smaller wins to keep you happy if that helps the gambler inside you.
They never tell you what time frame there trading on though that’s the real key.
In this example he held on for over a year on just this one trade, so I would assume it’s 1 min

its not a bad indicator, its similar to ichimoku cloud...but dont just rely on idicator bcs sometimes its a fake signal so to make confirmation, use other strategy to confirm it

@@luciferhd9859 what i realise after all mistake i made... Is there's no right and wrong strategies and indicator...as long as we learn risk management... Since market has no certainties, all we can do is to learn how to minimise loss so our account would never blown...its not 'wrong' strategies that make our account blown but because of no system and discipline on risk management
It seems to look pretty full proof in my back testing as long as the 13 and 21 ema line up as well. If the the 13 or 21 are crossing the candle whenever the 55 crosses the bottom though it is a fake out most of the time

You got lucky that it moved with you and not against you. If it did take a year than that shows that long term investing is better than day trading.

I backtested it, you may need to tune the numbers
how day trading is practical and not practically guessed too much:
figure they will sell if they aren't buying, if they don't sell then they'll have to buy and not sell too much to cause a consistency of buying that would maintain price elevations. if the price doesn't elevate because of it then selling would affect buying sentiment and the price would probably go down because of or causing more selling (if not then buy before the price goes too high to confidently buy from.)
sell if the price bought at doesn't hold.
it works until it violently implodes
Time frame for this strategy
I would say it works 50% of the time. But, if you consider it as an all time strategy it is dumb. And moving averages are there to know the trend. So it suits for 1h or 30m timeframe. If you are into scalping you can use it for 3m and enter and exit after a few candle. Although, price action is best, because you predict the market based on supply and demand zones, as you are in the market you know the liquidity time and etc. Without price action dont use this, you will surely end up losing your capital. Also trade with a stoploss, remember you need capital to trade, and you need to book profits to increase your capital! Trade carefully and consciously! Dont do panic buy or panic sell, keep targets, keep stoploss, predict and take a confident trade. One good trade with large quantity (options) is enough for a week.
Pro tip.
Please care about OI every 10 minutes, you will know how the spot price money in out works so you can know how many invest in that specific part. That is a hell of an indicator which is not drawn on charts but on the minds. OI interest and Change. Interest and Volumes are important.

@@tman7511 You are most welcome. OI itself is a vast topic. For example. Your index might show a downfall but the Per share call/put price might slowly increase. On the other hand the index might show a downfall/upward trend and the per share call/put price will be rapid. That is because of the pressure on that particular price (Volume). Volume is an important read. Also time decay on the share (if you trade options) is also vital. You can read it yourself for free in articles and on RUclips. As now everything is there for free and you just need to give your time for learning. Hope you do good in markets. Wish you goodluck mate!

@@boboiboy9350 OI is not an indicator you can find in the App or Web. Its from Option Chain. You could see the OI and its change percentage. In simple terms you can see the Support and Resistance levels easily by seeing the option chain and the open interest of contracts in particular spot price, making it extra value for your analysis.
@@boboiboy9350 Whatever may come, indicator is also a price action but in graphs. Price action what you do is the best analysis that you could count on.
Vwma would probably be better than TEMA do to the duration it measures.. its probably super reliable in choppy markets though given how fast it is
