But my observations in Yinchuan Ningxia China (inner mongolia) Autonomous region there are many Chinese Catholic Christians and Chinese Muslims with many Churches and Mosques they get along with each other. In fact, I attended Christmas eve mass with many chinese Christians inside there big church. They were happy when I greeted them X'mas and saw that Im a foreigner-from Philippines. I was there working b4 in LNG Plants with 2 projects involve as mechanical engineer.

Jesus is the way to the Father.
Good story, it brings back lots of memories. My wife and I worship with the congregant’s at Hong Kong International Baptist Church on Easter of 2014. In 2018 we got connected with another church in Hong Kong and built some lasting friendships. I have seen firsthand how the national security law and Beijing’s five year Sinicization of Christianity plan has impacted Christians in Hong Kong. Since 2020 our conversations became fewer and shorter with conversations about politics becoming a taboo topic. Their devotion to God is real and there is much we in the west can learn from the believers in Hong Kong and in mainland China.

I am a Christian and initially I agreed and happy that the christians supported to try to change the jurisdiction law imposed by the CCP. As it turn into a serious riot I dug deeper into the reason. Then I learnt that the jurisdiction law was actually imposed so that the law can carry out to persecute a man that killed his pregnant girlfriend! Then the whole riots began slowly to change its tune to fighting for Hong Kong's freedom. This clearly shows the REAL AGENDA of the rioters. It is no longer about true justice. I am ashamed of the Christians in Hong Kong. You have forgotten the teaching of Jesus. He died because He refused to conform to the pressure of becoming a King to rescue the Isrealites from the Romans. A small pool of people just like Judas Iscariot who eventually betrayed and killed Him. You chose to pardon a criminal in exchange for your FREEDOM! Just like Barabbas was chosen over Jesus. And now Hong Kong, America is invoked to help justify your cause. Civil disobedience, anarchy and maybe Armegaddon earlier than expected. 😔

I lived in China for 6 years and went to a thriving church. Yes, we were free to worship but churches have to apply for certain licenses. It was weird but I lived my church.
