no. You can turn the cab sim on and off, so if you want just preamp signal you can have it, but if you want to plug direct to the PA, it will work that way too.
I would love it, but i live all the way in Malaysia, so maybe it'll be better if i get a brand new one. Thanks for all the help and advice man! Helped me out loads!
YES it IS possible...however you would need to use a Line Level output or an effects send (basically any output that is non-powered)...as I stated above it will detroy any amp to run it without a load.
@thewrathofraf Yes, im plugging my guitar directly into my computer. Sorry for my english, im from Brazil, hehehe. I have thinked in using and USB interface, too, but i wasn't sure if what i would really need were the direct box or the interface. I will look forward for the USB interface then. Thank you very much, man!
@thewrathofraf Yeah man i had seen the M Audio Fast Track.. the problem is that i dont think i can afford too much for that one now =/... well, another option that i thinked was the Behringer guitar link UCG102. Its so much cheaper than the M Audio - and i know that this factor (the price) would mean that its not as good as the Fast Track, but thats what i could get right now. I will do more research. Thanks again!
FYI Rafiq...the Ground Lift is for removing 60 cycle hum IF it happens to exhist. In situation where you are playng in a club it MIGHT be needed. I usually don't need it in live situations but then I filter the house power anyway.
Yeap, i get what you're saying. Thanks so much for the help! Considering between this and a Hughes and Kettner Redbox, but with the Behringer being almost 4x cheaper, I think the behringer might have just won it...
It might help a little bit. Its hard to tell. Its a 30 dollar piece of gear, though, so its worth a shot. Itll at least make it sound like youre going through a cab rather than just the preamp signal to FOH.
Hi Rafiq, I liked your review. In my church they don`t use amplifiers for guitar, they plug straight into mixer and them to PA , and the sound is terrible !!!! I love pedals if I buy this oone and plug in the final of my chain before the mixer, is it improve my sound ?
Hey man, how you going? I have a question... im planning into buying one of that direct box, but i want to know if it will solve my problem: for now, i just plug my guitar into the line in of my PC and record it through guitar rig and some multi track software (Im using Reaper in the moment), but i get too much noise and feedback from my guitar and i need to turn the noise gate up and it makes my tone much worse. Would a direct box like that help me with the noise and feedback of my recordings?
Hi! Thanks for your video. I want to record some music at home, but I cant play loud cuz of neighbours! Im thinking of getting this one and commutate it like Guitar -> Pedals -> ULTRA G -> Line in of my sound card. Ive tried to play with this chain without ULTRA-G and the sound is horrible, so will ULTRA-G make everything sounds like im using good stack and micing it?
Hi! Just wondering if it' s possible to use the behringer WITHOUT plugging it into a cab? So as in Amp speaker out -> Behringer -> PA. Will it work that way and NOT fry my amp head? Thanks in advance!

Finally someone connect it right

@thewrathofraf ok that makes sense when playing live i can use a reference cab but run the ultra to the house
Alex , tava pesquisando exatamente sobre isso e achei tu cara !! Vamos fazer um abaixo assinado pra colocarem ampss !! hahahah
Makes it sound like your amp is going through a cab rather than getting straight preamp signal.

Right that kinda makes sense. Any cheap load dummys you would recommend?
@thewrathofraf I have thinked in using "an" USB interface*

Thanks for the quick reply! Could you explain to me why it still requires the speaker?

so with this you don't need a cab
IT doesn't...your AMP does if you are using the SPEAKER output. It will destroy any amp to run without a LOAD
hi good vid,
what is the virtual cab simulator for?

so i don't have to mic up the guitar amp it is a option
so would i need to mic up the amp at a live situation?
Men.....você fala pra cara caramba ein....kkkk
