Superb John, I would love to do this kind of fishing but my family commitments would not allow. A massive hats of to you John this gives us anglers who can only dream of doing public lake fishing an incite into whats it like. John only observation I would make is you seem so reluctant to fish the pay lake. It looked a lovely lake why were you so reluctant, surely its not the money aspect.
If we needed a Michael McIntyre carp fishing look-a-like it would be John. It has been in my head on all previous videos. Time to comment. I'm loving the way he/they fish around. Videos put together nicely with music etc. Binged watched one after the other :)
I would of cherished fishing in France, for me it's enjoying everything about fishing, the scenery, the freedom etc....not just the size of the carp that your catching,I think you've got lost on your way of pursuing the dream
Live and let live. He is after the bigger fish and is honest about being dissapointed when its not happening. Some people are happy just catching small ones, some arent. It would be a boring world if we were all the same.
+matmc71 I understand where your coming from, there's people out there less fortunate and don't ever have a chance at having opportunities like this and it's just mind blowing to think that someone can moan about catching mid 20s carp!!! I was amazed that he wasn't happy moving lakes and smashing it over night,in my eyes that's much better than sitting on the other lake catching sweet fa.....for the viewers at least have some enthusiasm, after all it's people like us that need to get the next generations I to this sport to keep it alive,if we were all dissatisfied like this it wouldn't last long at all
+Timmy Martin It is not this guys job to inspire the next generation. He is an honest big carp angler. I admire his honesty. He chooses to fish a different style to the norm. He is after 40 lb plus fish. If you want some happy go lucky noddy, there are plenty of those elsewhere on youtube. leave the guy alone.
+matmc71 happy go lucky noddy? 1 of them 1s are you lol......everyone's got to start somewhere and considering RUclips is the biggest site for people to start learning off of 1 another, this isn't very helpful atall....everyone dreams of catching the biggest of the lake, but having a glum face holding a good fish isn't motivational or aspiring? You need to pull your tongue out his arse man 👊🏻💯
Another great warts and all video. love it.
Thanks John.
Looking forward to more.

Love the video, hope your next session is more successful John. Can't wait to watch it.
Be interested in seeing a slide show of John's. Bet he has some interesting stories of past sessions in France!

Keeping it real. Must be near Lac du Der by the look of those long old mirrors...
