BATTLING For Gold - U23 Men’s Race - SPAR European Cross Country Championships 2021

Great Britain’s Charles Hicks and Ireland’s Darragh McElhinney pushed each other to the absolute limit in the U23 men’s cross country race. Setting off strong and both staking a claim for the gold medal at Fingal-Dublin 2021.
It all came down to a tense final lap where the two were joined by Luxembourg’s Ruben Querinjean for a thrilling battle to decide the medals.
