The single best thing about this amazing mix is the fact that the lyrics acknowledge that the cat is terrified...and tells it to relax. Man, that honestly brings a tear to my eye. I'm so used to seeing "exploitative" videos of pets in distress, and this just warmed my heart to acknowledge this and to, in a spiritual way, tell the cat that "It's okay. Relax. I'm here for you."

This is truly remarkable. I went from hearing random noises from a cat, being impressed by how each added layer added depth to these noises, to hearing the original cat recording again, and thinking "well of course, the music was always there". Hats off. I really admire this talent in finding music in the strangest places.

I started a few years ago a temporary shelter for cats due the hight volume of them abandoned on the streets in Mexico.
