Very good Dr. Russ. Some of those stories never fail to bring tears to my eyes...but i would rather hear them and try to 'participate' as if i was there than not do so. Thank you.

Dr Russ. You absolutely do come off as a good man! Your story about Angel hits hard with me. For the most part, the exact same thing as I went through with my abused rescue dog, Buster. My soul mutt. I miss him everyday. ….. To pick up the brightness, I have the exact same dpms. Boy, is it fun to shoot!! Threw on a jungle cam paint job that I think would make you proud. …. And btw, I have two 97 yr old training clients that keep my wheels turning so age is definitely not a factor. Stay positive. Great days ahead!! -Jas.
So sorry to hear about Angel, they truly are part of the family and I to have had to put down a few of our dogs and 1 cat. Thanks for a wonderful story Dr. Russ.
SR Christopher ... good to hear from you and thanks for the compliment ... Our producer lost his father last week ... so we are a little behind ... but some great videos coming ... and some great videos planned... we hope they provide value to you... Dr. Russ and Dr. Paula
Great advice Dr Russ, I been hunting and shooting firearms and air rifles since I were a kid, I’m 55 now so most of my life, those are very good tips on hunting situations that almost everyone that has hunted long enough would come across. I have been their also, luckily my dad taught me the rights and wrongs at a early age!!!
As I've said many times your videos are the best very helpful tips.about hunting and the stories you share with us are great i started my journey with you and up to this point all i can say is thanks for everything sir you are an inspiration to me now the good news is i am waiting for my AEA challenger pro in 30 cal and i cant wait to test it out got the hatsan hercules bully in 5.5mm great airgun fantastic shots i had a great day hunting rats and magpies have a great day Dr. Russ i wish you the best
Magnificent words, Dr. Russ! I own that same or an extremely similar model of that BB rifle here, great fun but have had issues with the CO2 cartridges not wanting to seal properly despite using a drop of oil on connecting. I look forward to the next video about the rifle. Thanks and have a wonderful week
Ten Drafts Deep .... it is good to hear from you again... Sorry to hear about your trouble. You may have gotten a new donut shaped nylon or rubber seal with your gun that replaces the bad one... if not ... call Crosman ... they are very inexpensive ... and sometimes free. Dr. Russ
I only use open sights. I was very good with my old Benjamin from the 70s, 22 cal, after modifying the brass front sight with a file to a razor point then polishing a tiny reflective dot on the tip for pinpoint accuracy. My eyes now have good and bad days where I can`t see open sights well. I see a double image and can`t figure out which is real...plus they blur together. I don`t even know how to use a scope. When I was young we spent two days sighting in the scope on my 30-06 then went on a deer hunt. It got knocked off. Turned me against them because I missed an 8 point. I got an ok scope with my Airtact but really have no use for it because it`s for close range nighttime garden pests...armadillos digging up my food. I use driveway alarms to alert me.
Ban Everything ... it is good to hear from you and we appreciate your personal experiences with air guns. Please keep us in your air gun info loop... Dr. Russ
Hi Doc, 🇬🇧 hope you and your tribe are keeping well,👍🇬🇧 Wishing you all health and prosperity . 🤔as I have got older🙄. I find it hard to pull the trigger on living things, I have shot tens of thousands of Crows and pigeons , and even though they are classified as vermin in the 🇬🇧 , it’s become harder for me to take life without feeling remorse. I was wondering if you feel the same?
Shaun Jones ... it is good to hear from you ... and you have brought an interesting thought process to the table. I certainly have shot my share of critters and trophies... and what I enjoy even more than harvesting game today, is to be a guide for my wife (Dr. Paula) who only started hunting a few years ago. We also hunt a lot of animals for wild game dinners that help widows who are trying to keep their utilities paid up. I still enjoy eating a lot of wild game, so I often have that as my motivation. Lastly, I enjoy sharing the tips I used throughout the years with new hunters who are using air guns today in our videos. But bottom line, if I never shot another animal, I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep about it. Iguana and Python in Florida has kept my interest. I have yet to hunt in Africa, so there might be some interest there. Bible scripture teaches that God put all of these critters on the earth to meet our needs. Early civilizations required everyone to be a hunter ... or a farmer.... however, since the invention of refrigeration, we all rely on modern supermarkets today. Dr. Paula has a major bird feeder project in our back yard and a very young deer has been visiting it each evening about 7 pm... and I would certainly would be filled with remorse if I saw it shot. You've brought up an interesting topic... I need to think about it some more. Dr. Russ
Thanks for your reply 👍 and it’s great for you to pass on your hunting skills to new shooters and I can see how you can get a lot of pleasure from watching someone progress under your guidance. Learning to process game is very important to, and well done for passing on your knowledge to new hunters. Many dedicated hunters give a their chosen sport and become dedicated to conservation, one such man you have probably heard of was Jim Corbett who hunted man eating tigers for the Indian government. Check out Jim’s books doc 👍 fascinating reading on hunting and his love of tigers.🤔 I think there’s 4 books on hunting, how they haven’t been made into a film I just don’t know . All the best to you guys 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Dr Russ need your advice asap. I accidentally loaded a peelet backwards in my Ruger 177 break barrel. It's a premier hollow point and 1/4 is stick out. Idk wether to push it in and shoot it or try to pull it out. If I try, it's likely that I'll warp it. Pls tell me it's safe to fire. I almost think that I've probably done this once on accident once before because I remember hearing it making a ricochet sound when fired.
