The story how i start playing rec room is im just start randomly scrolling in ps4 play store for good free games and im find this. Im suprised this game is huge massive sandbox.

I mainly expected like little 8 year olds screaming everywhere so when I first started, I made a junior account so I didn’t need to hear anyone… but I’ve now learned it’s an awesome community!
rr is definitely addicting. I’ve been playing for about 2 years (started in around March of 2020) and I would get on pretty much every day. Although I lost interest in it for a bit after having my headset break and getting addicted to another game (Echo VR since I got a new Quest 2) I played rec room once randomly and now I play it every day again.
Toxic people? Yes. Many? Yes, so many. That is exactly why I want to be a mod. I join so many rooms, and I see so many toxic people. But Rec Room is amazing and gets you hooked when you get some nice friends. And it's incredible how this game can get you lots of money! I highly doubt i'll get to have any of those golden items or the hundreds of dollars you can get from just simply selling things. Yea, gifting is a big thing. I get a bunch of messages saying I should gift them something expensive. I don't gain that many tokens and I'm not gifting a random person items that are worth tens of dollars. I only gift to People I really know and trust. Sometimes to special people.
Can 100% agree that gifting is a big thing in RecRoom. I’m currently 15 years of age and I cried over my friend gifting me items worth something like 17,500 tokens all together 😂
I've been playing rec room for over a year (A.K.A JAN 1ST 2021) and when I got my VR headset rec room became so much more than just some screen mode game it became an unforgettable experience I have became hooked to this game like it was some type drug rec room has changed me as a person and when I started making maps I couldn't stop and even though making maps is tiring sometimes i still find it fun all the knickknacks you can toy around with even though I'm not a good builder I still find Fun within all the things I make (even if its inventions). Rec Room has changed me its awesome how much rec room opened me up to socializing with other people VR wise and in real life... ALSO HAPPY NEW YEARS
When I first started rec room I always praised 25+ year olds who played this games like a god since they’re the only person who will be nice 100% of the time to anyone and they’re not too bad and they’re not too good so you can just enjoy the day with your new friend you randomly found in a paintball lobby
Man I had a time once when Covid started where I'd literally play all day 😅 So glad I joined the ValArt Host Team tho since I met so many wonderful people there ♥️
TIP: if you have a talent (drawing, singing, good jokes, ect) please PLEASE please go up to randoms like in hangout games (like DuckysPenthouse, ect) and like, do your talent. Literally 90% of my friends friended me bc I’m good at singing. And ngl, I have made some really good friends! I like to play Rec Room more now, people say good things like “keep going” or “when you’re older you will be a great (famous) singer” and I think that gives me a confidence boost. Highly recommend 👌
The adults iv met are so nice, people kept saying I sounded like one in till they got a job and couldn’t play any more, the other ones iv met rearly get annoyed, most of my friends are my age or a few years older and there the best people iv ever met
I think its funny when people walk right up to me and call my avatar ugly. I know it has something to do with the 40k+ tokens in items im wearing at all times 🥴
And also, If you're a PC player, you're wondering when you get a vr headset so you can play rec room. Then you get excited for no reason and just hope you get one soon

One thing I hate about rec room is specifically the junior accounts. There’s this one “infection” as I call it. It’s called junior account killer syndrome. The name is perfect, trust me. It’s basically just junior accounts random killing OVER AND OVER. Yes I know that it’s not just junior accounts that random kill but you can’t tell me that you rarely come in contact with these types of players. It’s mostly in PVP community games.
When I was in the rec center somebody said my YT name and I was terrified and half the rec center chased me around like. IM NOT FAMOUS- now I’m terrified of the rec center

Personally, I’m actually not to big on buying clothing. I’m fine with the standard clothing you get when you join and I play just for the fun not really the credits(who knows tho that might change lol)

Well it does and you know what I’m gonna say… Jumbotron the giant tv robot. When we destroyed him what if he was torn apart and they used his parts to make the friend-o-tron since the logo is a vending machine with a face sound familiar right well it does!!! And why you may ask? Well its pretty obvious… JUMBOTRON IS LITERALLY A SCREEN WITH A FACE! So that’s my theory Jumbotron was torn apart and his parts were used to make the friend-o-tron. BUT HEY! THATS JUST A THEORY! A REC THEORY!
