Making an exquisite ID card holder(PDF pattern)

I made this ID card holder in a different way by punching stitching holes on each piece of leather separately before combining them. The result is a beautiful zig zag thread pattern on both sides of the finished item.
♦Spec.: slot x 2
♦Materials: veg. tanned or chrome tanned leather, lobster hook x 1, 10mm grommet x 1, 3mm, 0.2mm transparent sheet, leather rope(length depends on user's height)

It appears to be well made. But honestly, no matter how many times I make an ID card holder, it looks just like yours. A glorified luggage tag. That's all I see. There has to be a better design somewhere. This is an all too typical design that I dislike. I do like your leather crafting skills, however.
