The BFG 50A is actually not a Barrett rifle, its a Serbu rifle and is said to be more accurate than a Barrett rifle since it's barrel doesn't recoil back whenever it fires to re-chamber a round. Instead it relies on a gas system seen above the barrel and that's what allows it to chamber the next round.
Yeah, it's a Serbu BFG-50A. The Barrett (we have an M107A1) is heavier, a lil over 27 lbs and the Serbu is 23 lbs as I recall. Both are capable of Sub-MOA accuracy which is amazing cause we're talking about a cartridge that was designed to shoot down planes and ships and such, not plink stationary targets, but I can ring a 10" steel plate @ 1,000 yds no problem with either of em. ETA. Not only are they heavy (Ya would not want to carry em all day in the mountains in Bolivia) they're just plain big and about as long as I am tall.

Do you think that the Fallen Ghosts map could be a multiplayer map? It isn't too big and I may work for a 4v4 game mode. Maybe a domination or CTF game mode for a map at that size.
The BFG-50A in the game was in fact modeled after the Serbu BFG-50A. Note the identical name. Google it and compare it to the one in the game and you'll see. The AS50 has an entirely different appearance, notably the barrel shroud covers much less of the barrel than the Serbu-BFG-50A.
5:40 Even though I used a Light Fifty when I was in the army and uses the PSG1 twice in my life but it's by far my favorite sniper rifle in all shooter games even though the XM8, HTI, MSR, Light Fifty and SR-1 are better but the PSG1 always rules!!!
I enjoyed playing Wildlands but it was only a one time thing. It was incredibly annoying having to re-unlock EVERYTHING. All weapons, items and squad perks. It would have been really nice to start a new campaign with everything you unlocked in the previous game excluding the rebel support because that falls in with the story. The P16 and MP5 are shit when it comes down to the need to be in more difficult regions of the Bolivia map. I wanted to try the game on hardest difficulty with all weapons and items unlocked and not have to replay everything through the menus.
No if you buy the dlc you will have to find them yourself but you can buy all the weapons from the store but you need to buy it separately so if you want to play the dlc you're gonna have to find the weapons yourself. It kinda sucks but you can use the weapons in the main campaign at least
Noise reduction doesn't actually mean anything. The subreddit experimented with it and the noise is by weapon class, all SMGs have the same amount of noise, all ARs have the same, all sniper rifles have the same. Adding a suppressor will reduce that amount of sound, but to the same exact level as all other weapons of the same type with a suppressor. To be fair, crossbows might be a new 'weapon class' but I'm willing to bet Ubisoft will take the lazy way out and they'll be exactly as loud as a suppressed handgun. I was pretty stoked for Fallen Ghosts, but after the Q&A, I decided I was done supporting the game, it's very clear the design team would rather not be making a Ghost Recon game at all and will not be adding anything that is even remotely interesting to me. Besides, the GI Joe look-alike enemies and cloaking devices out of their DLC to appeal to the 'tactical and mil-sim enthusiasts' was a huge let-down as well. And again, we get more unique weapon drops that look like they belong in Call of Duty, or CS:GO, not Ghost Recon. I don't think a game has ever been more falsely advertised... And then they have the gall to tell us that they won't let us customize paint on individual weapon parts in specific ways because they want it to look authentic. Someone needs to tell me what's authentic about Tier One operators riding on rainbow-farting llama bikes while using crossbows and muskets... because apparently I'm not up on what's authentic to special forces these days... When does Ready or Not come out? Something needs to save us from these fake-ass tactical shooters with the Tom Clancy name clumsily slapped onto a product that has nothing to do with the original Red Storm franchises.

If I wanted a generic 'action movie' military shooter with realistic guns, but novelty paint jobs, regenerating health, unrealistic tech and hoards of enemies you can mow down in a straight up fight without difficulty, there are SO MANY games I could have gone to. So many games that are better for that than Wildlands. When you try to please everyone, you end up pleasing no one, and this is why niche titles like Ghost Recon should stick to being what they are.

forget the guns melee is so much better the guns are like throwing marshmallows until you unlock the bfg-50a. the weapons they gave us are the crappiest ones from the main game and the unique weapons are even worse. crossbow is ok great for short to mid range stealth kills. explosive bolts are good for taking out choppers and light vehicles
