Haha just wait until the campaign begins 😉 jk, I’ve actually never DM’ed but it’s something I’ve been thinking a lot about doing lately
The DM is not supposed to be for or against the players, sure some are more forgiving than others but they should never straight up try to kill you off for no reason.

I know I’m late to this party but I just wanted to say great ASMR. For me, the best ASMR is low talking like you’re doing vs whispering which is what a lot of people do. Nice job and have a new subscriber!
My absolute favorite DND ASMR. So so so good. I love your descriptions and comparisons without going into crazy details. Great for starters. You'd be a great DM!
Just stumbled across this, though been running D&D for years myself and playing it as well as various other tabletop games, though my favourite race to play comes from Unearthed Arcana as its still in play test and that is Rabbitfolk...

Me and my friends play every week for 2-3days! I’m gonna be Dm next year and I’m kinda nervous. Luckily I’m good friends with my gaming buddies.

Before I first started Dm'ing I'd set the bar too high for myself, and kept feeling unprepared and never doing it. Now, 10 years and a bunch of campaigns later, I know being halfway prepared is the sweet spot. So my advice is to do it and to get comfortable not being so good at first XD

Dm'ing, in my experience, is 50% preparedness and the 50% improv, because your players didn't do a damn thing you had ready. In character creation, I find it helpful to multi-class 1 level into DM, kinda let's yah do what yah want. 🙃

@@Safie_bee Hi there! A good place to start is a boxed set called Dragon of icespire peak. Take a couple of days to get the basics from the (very short) rulebook and read the first parts of the adventure. Next, dive head first into DMing your first adventure for a few friends. You'll have fun and learn to roll with the punches.

I love this video. Its informative and really calming and this is not helping with my D&D obsession right now. I was asked to star in a campaign a while back (around the holidays) and actually start learning about D&D and the person bailed with no explanation. Now I am stuck with all these books and dice and ideas and blah.... this video is great as it makes me feel like i am playing. Thank you!

If you don't want to commit to a long running campaign there are games called "One shots" where you just play for one night.

Would you be interested in doing a ASMR beginners guide to dnd/being a dm. I always wanted to enter a DnD group. I have a character for it in my head! They're like a goat person, like that one guy from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe but.. Goat. Also they just.. Don't have a gender. They're that one homosexual friend who I also wanted to make a distant prince-

Hahaha okay to be fair, character creation is definitely one of my favorite parts of D&D so I get it (but also, definitely play sometime, it’s so fun)
@@BlackCatAuraASMR oh I'd love to give it ago some day, I've just never found someone else who fancies it too. Apart from one mate of mine and we wanted to get a game going and he tried to get some of his other mates involved but none of them fancied it.
