My thoughts on the bent light is that it's a reinforcement of the idea that the "truth" of the Elder Scrolls (the srries not the items) is what is the most meaningful to the person experiencing it. The light bent and the version of the story that ends with C0DA is true; the light bent and a different undiscovered ending is true; the light bent and the kalpa continues forever; the light bent and Tamriel is a standard heroic fantasy; the light bent and it's as weird as our traumatized millenial psyches can crank it.
