In this video we are still in Xunhua, but we are not exploring Chili and Walnuts, we are exploring mosques and temples! Xunhua has a lot of minority groups - Salar, Hui and Tibetans. Both hui and Salar are muslim, which means that there are a lot of mosques in the area, as well as Tibetan monasteries.

Hi! I've been uploading quite a lot lately, and I just wanted to let you know a bit about my plans! I can't keep up with one video per week (the kids, enrolled in Uni again, house renovations, documentary projects, the household...). So to make my life less stressful I'm now trying to get in a routine of one video every other week! And it will be on Sundays! So see you again on October 6, with a video about the Salar people!

Thank you for showcasing Tibetan culture, it’s always wonderful to see our traditions being shared with the world. However, as someone who cares deeply about Tibet, I feel it’s important to acknowledge that Tibet is under Chinese control, and many of us believe that Tibet’s freedom and identity are still at risk. I hope you can also share the voices of those who continue to strive for Tibetan freedom and autonomy.
Oh Miriam, you have become so good with videography and sharing information with beautiful sights, music and your playful family. I am really curious now about all the symbolism of the colours of the temples and mosques. They are so beautiful, as is the scenery - and the drone footage from high overhead is stunning.
