Mihawk remarked that Shanks once told him about a boy in a certain village, he recognized Luffy and that's why he went to show Shanks the wanted poster. There was probably also some element of curiousity there as his new rival (Zoro) is related to Luffy and he wanted to see Shanks' reaction to Luffy's bounty.
Ohh that makes sense. I just wonder how Shanks and Mihawk know each other. Hopefully I'll get to know in the future episodes ☺️

It's awesome how Luffy was amazed by such a small detail as Genzo's pinwheel, only for us to find later on that it did, in fact, have a symbolic meaning. Genzo wore it because it made Nami smile (and he still kept it on all those years, even when Nami was supposed to be banned from the village), but she won't need it anymore. If anything, that responsibility falls now on Luffy's shoulders. Another detail some people like to point out, not sure if Oda made it on purpose or not, but Luffy comes from *Windmill* village.
Yeah that's such a nice way to symbolise it. There's so much depth to this show! Lovely!
