Different /Alternative Female Korean Soloists - Lee Jin Ah, Cacophony, and Seori - Reaction

Finally someone reacting to cacophony !! She makes amazing pieces like "Breath", "Reborn" (one of her latest releases), "Rosetta" and "I am sorry" and all of her discography honestly. As you pointed out, her vocal tone chamged throughout return, she tends to use a lot of vocal dynamics in her pieces which is what makes her so peculiar. Btw, about return, the reason why it can be so haunting is that it is in the dorian mode which is prevalent in medieval music. Could also be because it is cacophonous.
Lee Jin Ah too, she's a great jazz singer and pianist. I recommend "yum yum yum" and "stairs" then the rest of her discography too.
As for Seori, she has the kind of voice that is seems to have taken the lead in today's music. Her music is also very good, I especially like "if", "hairdryer" (a bit jazzy), and "trigger".

The guitarist for Lee Jinah's song is Jukjae, a really talented singer-songwriter of his own right and guitarist/session musician for a lot of other artists :D
Other Lee Jinah's songs that I recommend: Run (ft Gray) - this one is really good!, Random, Stairs, Choco. Her musicality is on another level :D

I'll co-sign Run and Stairs specifically, but all of Jin Ah's stuff is, indeed, great. Jukjae's got a bunch of great tracks too, but I would point out "Memory" in particular as it has some really classy Eric Johnson-style tones to it.

Lee Jin ah is so amazing TwT you can really tell she has her own ‘color’ in music since it’s so unconventional and special! My respect for her is sky high since she makes her own music and lyrics and her musicality in general is one of the top for me personally TwT ❤️

Rum Pum Pum has already bagged SOTY for me. It's a lock. I mean, let's be honest - who is gonna top Jin Ah and Jukjae's combined might? People throw the word "masterpiece" around so egregiously these days... but it legitimately applies here.

What a nice selection, the first Korean singer I listened too - "Lee Jin Ah - Time Please Slow Down" - and the latest - "Seori - If"..
For Cacophony I'm partial to "Breath" a beautiful tribute to her mother.
Most of Seori songs can't really be called mainstream: "Trigger", "Hairdryer", Fairy Tale", "I Wanna Cry" or "If"... definitely not the first two on this list.
