Great research. I’m taking melatonin 9mg at night coupled with fasting and have seen a more significant drop in fasting bgl than I have previously with fasting alone. (8.5mm/l down to 4.5mm/l) this was over 4 days of fasting. I’ll continue to take the melatonin after I cease fasting and see what continued impact it has. It would be remarkable if the “dawn phenomenon“ could be reduced. At the moment it is non existent but I’m planning to continue fasting for a few more days so won’t be able to tell for a week or more.
