THE UPPER EAST SIDE, sometimes abbreviated UES, is a neighborhood in the borough of Manhattan in New York City, bounded by 96th Street to the north, the East River to the east, 59th Street to the south, and Central Park and Fifth Avenue to the west. The area incorporates several smaller neighborhoods, including Lenox Hill, Carnegie Hill, and Yorkville. Once known as the Silk Stocking District, it has long been the most affluent neighborhood in New York City.

Hey, nice vid! Yep, March 3rd was brilliant. I live just a 15 minute walk north of the Met and got down there about 4pm catch the last day of Africa & Byzantium (I have a membership). So I also saw the guy with the blue photos, the (obnoxious) saxophonist (thank goodness he wasn't playing!), and the sidewalk typing poet. Also recognized the Polish lady selling books, and my friend Firat at one of the tables selling rings! It was a great day to be out! 👍

Good for her but I repeat, it's not allowed. I tried to film inside in 2021 and after 20 seconds someone asked me to stop filming.
And it's what you can read on MET website :

NYC has lots of serious problems. And it hasn't recovered from its self imposed COVID restrictions. This is the richest part of NYC. These NYC RUclipsrs never go to Queens or the Bronx and avoid most of Brooklyn. The majority of NYC residents live in these places. Most RUclipsrs show a sanitized view of the city.
