Ins and Outs of Intercropping with Scott Chalmers

Scott, a dedicated professional with a rich background in agriculture and research. Hailing from a small mixed farm near Carroll, MB, Scott's journey is marked by a passion for sustainable farming.
After earning his B.Sc. (Honours) degree in botany and chemistry from Brandon University in 2004, Scott's career took him to various roles, including a stint with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Brandon, MB. His experience also includes managing the non-profit South East Research Farm near Redvers, SK.
Since 2007, Scott has been a crucial member of Manitoba Agriculture, initially as a Diversification Technician, managing the Westman Agricultural Diversification Organization (WADO). Progressing to the role of Applied Research Specialist in 2014, Scott has been steering the WADO research program, contributing significantly to plot research and demonstrations.
Scott brings not only expertise but also a genuine passion for sustainable agricultural practices to our discussion today.
