I happened to find this album in one of my lowest points in life: Neglected and betrayed, I found myself coming to the other side of the world for reconciliation, and there I was, alienated and left alone in this strange place with barely anything. I had cried for days on end, called in sick from work due to the weight of my sorrow and desolation. But throughout these weeks I found this album, together with Grøn's Introvert Musik, and I could see beyond the misery I was drowning in, and after intense periods of suffering I could always fall back into the confort of these tunes, knowing that I will find my own way. I believe in miracles, and I can safely say God has been merciful and kind, and I soon I met someone who evoked a powerful feeling in me, making me able to heal myself and put myself together. For me this is the music for that kind of miracle.
Wow, I've been a bit low lately, even though I have a lovely family around me. Your words are beautiful put and very inspiring. All blessings, and happiness to you. :)
I can truelly relate my brother I was rock bottom when I got acquainted with this ulbum salute to the sun lovely piece of art
The Midas touch with Jazz.
A crackin' LP Sounds familiar and new at the same time. Like an old friend you've never met.
This may be the best example of what is called 'spiritual jazz.' Simple, melodic hybrid between jazz and chill. Perfect for relaxation or hanging out with friends with mellow vibes.
Trying listening to legends like Alice Coltrane, pharaoh Sanders or Ahmad Jamal!
Missing info :

Matt Cliffe - flute
Alice Roberts - harp
Liviu Gheorghe - rhodes
Gavin Barras - bass
Alan Taylor - drums

This is such a beautiful song🤝
Sublime. Refreshing. Beautiful. Calming. 10/10.
It’s funny how music can take you back in time. I’m listening to Matthew Halsall - An Ever Changing View, and it’s as if I’ve been drawn back in time to the 1970s, and I’m listening to WBUS with China Vallas.
Good memories.😑
England’s Musical Magician playing along with his Friends.
Visit Greece Man….We would love to see the whole band live here….
Long awaited new album from Matthew and his recent band. Beautiful music, full of pure emotions, which reflects beauty of nature and souls ... All the best to creators and to music lovers to enjoy this rare gift. Regards from Slovenia!
❤
As a recovering Heavy Metal addict I gotta say this album is such a great, fun, enjoyable and inspiring listen....
You've gone a long way already, congratulation :)
I don't see a particular reason to put down other genres. You can like this and metal at the same time.
Was going to mention the same,@@ClavicleCleric. Metal is such a diverse and generally excellent sophistication of music expression. That being said, this LP Halsall et al. have produced, is downright wholesome work.
Heavy metal fans appreciate this music at a different level as their ears pay a lot of attention to jazzy polyrhythmic time signatures. Cheers to Mathew Hallsall and Gondwana records for releasing great music over the year🎉
@@ClavicleCleric Saying you stopped listening to one genre of music exclusively doesn’t necessarily mean you’re putting down said genre. I interpreted it as this person horizons have been broadened
wow,i can hear the whisper from the wind!
Waow, what a Pharoah's tribute! Thank's Matthew, for playing with for an long time with your master plan.
Thanks Matthew. J'y retourne
Wow wow wow
Looking forward to hearing Matthew and the band in Warsaw this year 🤍🙌
These guys always deliver the best, Nice music
Just wonderful. Matthew is a great musician as is his band. Thank you for posting!
Very chill, very uplifting. A nice salve for our collective pain.
This album is a blessing.

I’m crying listening this album, and I’m only 2 tracks in
This album is a wonderful journey.

WATER STREET 🥺 Wow !!!!!!!
Pleasantly surprised by this album!
Beautiful, as always.
Music for life!
Awesome, reminds so much of the music from the game " creatures of the deep"!
Gorgeous album! Peace, Healing & Well Being to ALL
This is so good. Mmmmmmm.
Very smooth and I already know, I wll listen this much more than once!
Nice album
The track "an ever changing view" takes me back to one of your first albums, Fletcher Moss Park. Great stuff, Keith in Middleton Manchester.
Very well organised sound. Like a representation of nature in a sonic setting. Ecopoetic.
Brilliant and ethereal as always! Bless you master!
A wonderful life affirming album this. Matthew and his band never fail both live and in the studio - this concept album could be his best yet imo 💥🎶🎺🔥🧘🏻♂️🫶🏼
A phantastic piece in Jazzmusic👍
A lovely album (as expected), bought mine from Bandcamp. Who is in the line-up? Matthew Halsall himself plays trumpet, but who else?

Superb album!!!
42:49 - so so good
. . .... ....
I don't speak Russian
But what ever you said it's true
Excelente producción
Sax melody at 17:02 has to be a reference to Zelda: Ocarina of Time's intro melody
"Gondwana style" consumed Halsall XD
Calder Shapes sounds so much like Title Theme from Ocarina of Time.
DISCARA !!!!!!
Beautiful..even more beautiful if the flute was edited out....
is he black?
