Kristie, I am LOVING this newer style of videos that you're doing. I really love watching and listening to you make your cards. I learn so much from you, especially when you explain the techniques you use in building them to make them live to through the mail, etc. These are so pretty & these papers are beautiful! I think my favorite was card #17 & #18--the angled heart paper with "You are beautiful..." on it. The angled paper was a fun technique! Thanks for always sharing such great ideas...YOU'RE A ROCK STAR!!!
I’ve been making cards for 25 plus years and never seen the idea of using scrap card stock to put behind the layers on a card so the top layer is level…😳 It makes sense! I have tons of white scrap card stock to use for that. Thanks for the tip and creative ideas!!! 👍🏻
Aw, thank you! I started noticing on older cards a "dip" or "dent" where the papers weren't level. At first I was using foam dimension, but then switched to scrap cardstock. I always have a ton of scrap cardstock. Lol! It may be a bit OCD, but now the finished cards have a cleaner look.
Wow, not sure I could pick a favourite card, they are all so gorgeous! With my love of butterflies, I would probably choose the first card as my favorite. I watch your videos in awe, I can barely put one card together in the time you make 20 or 30 cards, lol. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
You are so good explaining the process, and your voice is so soothing. I have found my style in card making because of you- layering! My wish is to purchase all the sketchbooks you use. Your gifting of your cards is awesome. Because cardmaking is so easy for you, you probably don’t realize what your cards mean to your recipients
Aw, thank you so much! I really appreciate your kindness. 💗 The sketches I show in my videos are free for you to use. If you head over to my blog, I share all of the sketches there. (Link is in the description box.)
LOVE all these cards! Thank you for sharing how you made them. Love the idea off adding some cardstock underneath a panel that makes it all level. I used to add foam dots but now I will be adding cardstock instead.
Cards 5 & 6 are my favorites! I love the metallic die cut 💕 so pretty. All the cards are pretty. 💖 The colors in the collection are lovely as are the designs. TFS
Hi Kristie, Beautiful cards, and now you would like me to pick one, well I find that hard, they are all lovely, and I love the format of the video, I hope you keep doing them like this, Thanks so much for sharing, take care and keep safe, Cheers Anna.from Australia.
Another RUclipsr made some Valentine's cards using grey and pink - they were stunning! I love how you used the grey too. So beautiful. Stay safe, Nicole
I agree with Cheryle O'Connor!! First it was Doodlebug and now Paper Rose. I didn't resist the first time and put an order in yesterday and now here you are with an absolutely stunning set of cards and I am so proud that it is an Australian company...thanks for showcasing. Oh, and by the way, you really expect me to pick a favourite?
Heather Upton Lol! It’s really not my fault. It’s the companies that make all the pretty paper and stamps. 😀 You will definitely see me using more Paper Rose products in future videos. 🌸
@@KristieMarcotte Just finished using my Happy Days. Most 2 each of your picks, a couple of other sketches and three of my own I made up - got 25 cards out of 12 pieces...yay...another 12 pages left...thanks for all your inspiration.
As an Australian crafter, I find using our paper sizes interesting for using sketches and the placement of elements. The A5 paper; that these papers are sized at; is actually what we start with for our card bases as this is half of our A4 full sheet paper. I love what you have done with this set of papers. I love using sketches for my card making as this helps with the placement of elements. Also wanted to mention that I love this format of your card making videos. I am picking up many tips and tricks by having a voice-over explaining one but showing all the cards you made using the one sketch.
Tracy B Thank you so much! I just love Paper Rose’s beautiful papers and will continue using them. Card sketches are such a great source for inspiration. I’ve been using them for many, many years. 😊
I had recently discovered Paper Rose myself due to some of their stunning dies! REALLLLY loving the new format! Not sure if that is a permanent thing or not, but I'm hoping so. Thanks again for sharing.
Lisa Rutherford Paper Rose’s products are amazing. I have quite a few on my wish list. 😊 I’ve always done this style for my kit videos. It’s just my 6x6 videos that are different. I’ll keep mixing them up.
Kirstie Marcotte strikes again, what a beautiful collection, such muted colours and beautifully designed papers. Loved all of the finished cards and was not able to pick out a favourite, I loved them all
WOW amazing set of cards Kristie 😻 they are all my favourites lol I love the fabulous pattern papers and your card designs ❤ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Ok Kristie cut it out! First you turned me on to Love from Lizi now this beautiful paper. I resisted it in the first video but not this time! After a careful of their products I think I've found a new obsession! I love your videos. I never understood how to follow a card diagram until I started watching you!!! Thanks a bunch.
Cheryle O'Connor Oops, sorry about the enabling. Lol! I really do enjoy their products though. I think you’ll be happy with the quality as well. I’m glad you are enjoying card sketches. I’ve always loved using them for inspiration. 😊
More pretty paper--my wish list is getting a bit out of control. :-) So hard to pick a favorite because I love pink and gray together, but maybe OWH 146 with the butterflies... Love the floral ones, too. I can't choose! TFS
I swear, these videos are like meditation for me. :) That dark grey cardstock you use in the first two cards...is that part of the paper pad or something else you have in your stash?
Colleen Egan Aw, Thank you! 😊 The pearlescent dark grey cardstock is by Coredinations. It’s the Onyx color. I like adding lots of cardstock layers to my cards. 💗
Thank you for another inspiring and instructive tutorial. I have never used a paper pack the size you used but am interested in this new company that also sells stamps and dies. Do they sell kits or do you have to purchase everything as singles? Best Regards.

I'm having problems with you affiliate links. It says "can't be found". Any suggestions? Thank you for you lovely video. Very inspiring.
Hello. What link isn't working? I just checked all the Paper Rose links and they work for me. Many of them are out of stock though.
@@KristieMarcotte it was the stickers and embellishments that did not work for me.
Very odd. I just checked every link and they all seem to be working for me.

Can I ask where you get your twine?
I bought a bunch of twine many years ago from The Twinery online. I don't believe they are open any longer.
