It’s interesting to speculate on who songs are about - The Grudge is pretty obviously written about Josh and drops a lot of references to lyrics from Sour, and the lyrics indicate Love is Embarrassing probably is too. Vampire and Logical are a really toxic guy. I wonder if Bad Idea and Get Him Back are a third party, the other of the two party guys people speculated Vampire might have been about.
Well people never count puberty and such things in. Like I always get silently mad if someone says Avril Lavigne went from "Sk8terboi" to "Hello Kitty" if you're indeed closer to my Age you should know what I mean. Like FGS there were like at least 2 Albums and phases inbetween. Also, I feel like growing up with the Motherfkingprincess made you kinda genre open, because while she got the label of "PUnk-Princess" of her time she never purley stuck to just one side, either. Also people seem to NEED to complain about ish these days, ocassionally am surprised that the USA hasn't made "breathing at the same time" as someone in the shop next to you, "Illegal" too and I don't even live on that continent, friend(s)? ;) I personally don't want to repeat my early 10s and 20s at least the years from 0-16 in the school experinces. But I do miss Harry Potter not being an illegal Fandom thing to be in, jumping in a bathing suite through the garden hoes and this and that and stuff like those. These days everyone is complaining about everything and everyone and their pinky toe, I miss the times we could just be teens following local bands, thinking we were so "anti-mainstream" wo realizing that that was the actual "Mainstream back then". Granted, that phase maybe lasted 14 days for me, but I wouldn't be surprised if there indeed would have been some who hold longer on. And now the most ridicolous sh*t from the late 90s to early 10s is "Nostaligc" ...how the fk are people born after 02 already out off their diapers? And yet a lot of Artists on screen and on the ears are around those early 2000s birth-years...just how? Long talk shor tmaybe "Bad idea, right?" Is maybe for the older gals and guys who remember those times they've (never) lived (like this) and grew up in a time before "Not taking yourself to seriously" was considred part of "good Humour" ??? ;)
Yeah I saw that! I also saw rumours about Gracie Abrams because of the ‘ribbon’ in hair reference - but they’re all just speculation tbh. It could just be general jealousy 🤷♀️
