Great video GreenLeoMan. We have an almost the same electric motorcycle and wondering where is the speed limiter and where to disable it. Anyway I have a question: Had you experienced before that the motorcycle rained/bathed so it got wet then when you throttle the motorcycle is just jerking and not moving forward? When my motorcycle is new and this happened, within an hour after the vehicle got dry the jerking will just vanish and when I throttle it will move forward again. After 6 months, it got rained again. And the jerking is not vanishing even after 2 weeks. I already dried up the electric terminals but still no avail. Had you experienced this? Any tips that you can share related with that concern?
Almost the same bike is not the same bike. Just because they look the same doesn't mean it has the same internal components. So without further info on the bike, controller, motor, etc... i can't help u there. As far as the throttle goes, it's electronic. U probably corroded ot from the rain. Buy a new throttle and a bike cover and cover your Electric motorcycle in the rain. The parts on these bikes are not motorcycle grade parts. They can't take the weather as well. Good luck!
Hub motor is 8,000 watts. Controller is Nanjing Fardriver. Li-ion battery 72v100A. Its not the throttle. If the headlight and daylight is switched off, the vehicle will move as I squeeze the throttle. If I turned the lights On, the vehicle will just jerk as I squeeze the throttle. The bike got wet as I drive then it rained. Not being parked then rained. Once I am cleaning the vehicle and avoiding the throttle and headlight switch to get wet, though the LCD panel got wet, the jerking happened as I squeeze the throttle. So it's not the throttle. It's really complicated can't find which component got affected. Anyway, thank you for your response.
Yea sry bud. I do Tao Leo's and votol controllers. So I wouldn't have a clue about ur bike. Sounds like a wiring issue. Rain causing a short somewhere. Only way to deal with that is by trial and error. Good luck bud. I hope u get it working.

Nxt question I was would the EM 50 to upgrade it to EM 150 volro controller still with the new 2022 tao leo? Before I get one too as a daily commute . If u put a 150 on the stock motor ur probably gonna burn the motor. 150's are rated for 4kw+. Ur motor is a 3kw. The em-100 is what u need. But yes the faster i make it, the sooner it dies. Ive got about 40km range now. 35km if i fly the whole time. If range is ur issue, get something bigger than a 40ah battery.

I have the original 2020 tao leo 724. It came with the 72v 40ah lithium pack. Votol EM-100 controller. 130kph after reprogramming. Enjoy the videos. I go through all the bells and whistles with this bike ontop of tonnes of ride footage. Enjoy and tnx for the sub!!

It came in lithium i think 40ah, 35ah? Not sure but u could also get 20ah, 22ah or 35ah lead acid. But i went with the lithium upgrade. Thats what makes mine the 724. 72v 40ah lithium. It was the best 1 u could get in 2020. But yea, even though lead acid is terrible awful in these bikes, it came with the option. Good question. 👍
Nope, not a clue. Never even heard of that bike before. If it's a regular controller u can just unplug the 2 blue wires that are plugged together from the controller. Or if it's a high output "smart" controller ur gonna have to figure out how to interface it to a laptop or something. If it has bluetooth u can use ur phone. Other then that I'm afraid I can't help further as I have no information about the bike in question. Hopefully this helps u troubleshoot the issue and tnx for watching as always. Good luck. 👍
I don't know how to get into it to program the controller. I've noticed it feels like the motor fights me sometimes. Nice to know how to get rid of it. Don't know how to get into the controller software. Got a video on that? I'm on an Emmo Zone GTS, but I assume it'll work roughly the same. I always thought the Tao Leo had the bluetooth controller.
No the 2020/21 Tao Leo has a Votol EM-100 controller. The 2022 model has the EM-60s. But the Emmo is a different breed altogether. Different brand controller. 2000w motor, leo has a 3000w QSMotor. Votol controllers are not Bluetooth either. U have to buy a special USB cable to program it but I wouldn't have a clue about your zone. I've never had 1 to rip apart yet. You could always throw an EM-60s controller in it. Then ive got a video for that 🤪. Sry bud.
Trust me when j say you do not want to reprogram an Emmo Zone to go faster without swapping your controller. That thing is located right under your ass and will catch fire if run fast long enough. I've got a 2018 Emmo Knight that tops out at 55-60kmh and even at those speeds after maybe 20km my arse gets pretty warm. Same basic controller as the Zone...except the old Zone GTS that thing was badass.

Do u have any idea what bms tao uses in their batteries?
The stock bms in a tao is shit. I swapped mine with a daly 100a bms. Watch my programming videos like everyone else. U'll get it. I won't remote desktop anyone ever so ur gonna have to figure it out urself using my vids as a guide. Many have done it successfully. Good luck and tnx for watching.

No u have to buy a special cable and program it with a computer. Watch my pragramming a votol controller video. It walks u through everything with links to the stuff u need. I'm getting 130km/h with a 40ah. My bms is 120amp. That's pretty good. Just tweak your controller settings a little and i bet u can hit 130. Good luck 👍

This is not 100a as ur other message might indicate. It's 70a max. That being said. I found a coupla pics of the wiring. Let me c if i can get them on here somehow.
U can find it on aliexpress. Search for ur controller. Then pick 1 and scroll down the page a bit. Most of the shops put up pinouts. Let me know how u make out cause youtube won't let me upload a pic.

I did find a pin-out schematic, but the one listed does not match my harness. Its the "Votol EM70", but is distributed by "YMMOTORS" if that makes the difference? i figured just a re-brand with any luck. I could take pics as well, or ANYTHING that could help you help me lol! Now i'm at the point where i BELIVE i need a NON-CAN cable? and i also THINK i have the correct software and drivers, thanks to you and one or two others videos!!! I just am REALLY scared to cut or attach to the wrong cable. That's my MAIN hang-up, idk who's harness diagram shows the correct wires, regardless of color? I sure hope i explained that okay, because its also far more confusing that anyone give credit for! lol. hi i have a tao leo and i removed the "HDC" to go faster. Since I removed them my bike no longer works well. I ride with it and at 70kmh it completely cuts out the screen. I have an "EM-100, even the programming of the bike is out of order. I bought a new module, same problem
Are u lithium or lead acid batteries? Also I don't understand why it would affect the programming of the bike. Make sure all the settings match mine. I did a previous video where I programmed a brand new em-100. Other then that, I'd have to look into it further but ur the only 1 with this issue so far. Watch the controller videos, cause if ur just unclicking hdc and not following the way I set the rest up, it's gonna give u issues.

Emmo zones claim to have a programmable controller but u need a 60 dollar adapter and different software altogether. Programming a zone is possible, but not like this. This is for the votol controller bikes. U don't have a Votol in ur zone so this trick will not work for you.

No. Increasing your ah does not affect speed. Voltage and amperage affects speed and that requires better controllers and motors. Increasing the ah will increase the distance you can travel.
Not that ive found. Just hit 110 and held it for about 10-15km. Motors not even hot. The brakes are hotter 😆. So no, the motor is capable of handling the extra amps just fine. The qs3000 and the em-100 are a killer match. If u put an em-150 or something rated 4kw then u'll burn it forsure.
I still get about 45km range if that's what ur asking. Takes around 30-45 minutes to charge up from a level 2 power station. About an hour to charge from the wall.
U can make any bike faster by upgrading the motor and controller, or reprogramming the existing controller if it's set up that way. I know nothing about armadas or what parts they come with stock so i cannot be anymore help then that. Sry. Contact your local ebike shop. I'm sure they could suggest a few things. Good luck. 👍
Apparently the higher the HDC value, the faster you will go also. The value is rpm's.

This only works for the tao leo. The emmo zone is completely different when it comes to the motor and controller. This won't work for your bike. Sry.
And I've never owned a zone to mess around with it. So I don't have any advice for it. Sry I couldn't be more help.

Brake cleaner. U can grab some from any automotive shop or walmart probably has some. Just spray it on and let it dry. Enjoy

No I don't use it. Might have been on during the recording but I leave it disabled. Good eye though lol. 👍

If it is newer than 2021 the controller is smaller. They are trying to slow them down.

No. Increasing your ah does not affect speed. Voltage and amperage affects speed and that requires better controllers and motors. Increasing the ah will increase the distance you can travel.

Any risk of that over heating the motor?
Not that ive found. Just hit 110 and held it for about 10-15km. Motors not even hot. The brakes are hotter 😆. So no, the motor is capable of handling the extra amps just fine. The qs3000 and the em-100 are a killer match. If u put an em-150 or something rated 4kw then u'll burn it forsure.

How longs the charge though?
I still get about 45km range if that's what ur asking. Takes around 30-45 minutes to charge up from a level 2 power station. About an hour to charge from the wall.

Can I make my armada combatant 2 faster please help ?
U can make any bike faster by upgrading the motor and controller, or reprogramming the existing controller if it's set up that way. I know nothing about armadas or what parts they come with stock so i cannot be anymore help then that. Sry. Contact your local ebike shop. I'm sure they could suggest a few things. Good luck. 👍
