Well done! Thanks for taking the time to show how the fittings work. I've heard of them but have not seen how they are used. Please do a follow-up video in the future with how you like that water heater.

The best way to stop a lot of noise from 12v RV water pumps is to use pipe insulation. You don't have to use it on everything, just from the tank to the pump to the accumulator, and then another foot or so. Basically one piece of pipe insulation.

Like standard foam pipe stuff or what? Have a link for something more in depth?

Love the Metallica shirt. My favorite band. Used to play in a cover band….Im a bass player. We covered Sandman, God that Failed, Am I Evil, and Sad but True….love Rob and Cliff. Jason was good in his own rite but Cliff and Rob were monsters on the bass

    Nice work.
The Pex A with upnor fittings is also a great option.

I learned you should have soft more flexible hoses on both sides of your water pump. The water pump is going to vibrate and make noise. You want flexible hoses attached to it to absorb that rattle. Sureflow has a kit you can buy or just rig up some flexible hose.

Thanks Jeff, we will look into doing this!

Create a catch pan with a drain to sit under the water heater. Otherwise when it rusts out it’ll cause water damage.

      Thanks for the tip!

@@britandmike no problem. It happened to me after 3 years of use but I had a catch pan so not such a disaster.

are you still happy with this type of water heater now that you've had some time to use it? wonder how much power it uses..

To be honest we have not used the water heater since we got it and tested it out. We have only used our shower once, since we usually have access to a gym shower, and we didn’t want to use the power required to heat the water

O man, shark bites are known for break easy.

It's a "water" heater. "Hot" water doesn't need to be heated... Sweet build!
