Also, you are quite correct, to be able to spend $75 per head for food in China isn't easy. This is going to be a higher end restaurant, and either higher end cuisine is involved - high end fish, lobster - or alcohol. 20+ people chomping down on high end food and alcohol being billed to a guy who makes a few thousand RMB per month... There's nowhere to go for this relationship anyways.

@@davewang202 I did my math wrong earlier, but $75 a head is still very very high. I’m guessing a fancy hotel in a big city like Shanghai or Guangzhou. Eating in Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons hotel can run you that much. But I don’t think those nice places have tables that can do 20 seats. Most fancy hotels restaurants are 2-6 seaters. Imagine being on a date and you’re taking up 6-8 tables and you are paying for it all. It’s not like two big tables at a restaurant with a lazy Suzan and everyone is socializing and having conversations. It’s all separate tables and you are the golden Buddha paying for it all. 😂

My advice to guys is, if you go on a blind date, wear dark glasses, and walk with a white stick. Seriously, i had a chinese girlfriend here in NZ. She told to pick her up at 7pm. I showed up in time, i am punctual. I waited one and a half hours. When she came out, she knew i was not happy. So when we got to the restaurant, she ordered a crayfish, to punish me for complaining.
