Hey Mitch! Tom here. Thank you so much for the deck tech! I love it and I’m glad to see your channel grow so far! Hope everyone gets a KICK out of this deck :)
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MITCH. You're one of my favorite EDH content creator. I've been following this channel for 2+ years now, and i have been loving it. thank you for the video.
Thanks for all your efforts Mitch, I discovered this series recently and now I am building both Neyith and Brallin/Shabraz based on your suggestions. Keep up!
I've built Neyith and she is by far the funnest deck I've made so far. You draw a TON. You should never run out of gas. You are always forcing bad blocks and fight works surprisingly well for spot removal. In my experience, either mammoth should really be the golden pig but great video!
Made this deck when she first came out. Mage Slayer is pretty nasty in it! (And in budget for sure) Neyith doubles a creatures power and Mage Slayer effectively flings that damage to whoever you're attacking. Love it.
While not technically a fight spell, Ram Through could be pretty good here. Also Phytotitan would be a great creature because even if if fought something and died it’d just come back and with 7 power it can do some damage...
Golden guardian plus brash taunter is thicc! Deal 16 damage to someone or multiple someone’s in increments of fours, and then get a land that taps for two mana, or makes 4/4s! Or you can just fight every turn without killing it and keep dishing out damage
How about lure? Its a green enchantment that says all creatures able to block enchanted creature do so. I think it would work very well in this kind of a deck.
Great decktech but could have used one more princess monoke reverence cause she literally lives with wolves! 🙂 Fell in love with her the moment she got spoiled so very happy youre building her. Some thoughts: 1. Vigor is probably the best card in the deck. Absurdley powerful with fight effects 2. Grow creatures like Managorge Hydra and Ravenous Slime are super efficient 3. Another golden pick for me would be Chandra‘s Ignition (and to a lesser extent, all the Fling / deal damage equal to power effects). Those give you a way to win even through a gummed-up board Great video and keep up the good work!
Season of Growth (2CMC): Whenever you cast a spell that targets a creature you control, draw a card. Great card for fight spells. I play it in my Toronto Raptors Fight Club Oathbreaker deck featuring raptors, enrage, and fight. built it after they won NBA last year. Season of growth also has scry 1 ETBs for your creatures so its totally dece! $0.91
I think Unnatural Aggression is one of the best fight spells. Its devoid, an instant and it exiles your opponents creature. Only a quarter. Also Outmuscle, while expensive at 4 mana, can give your creature indestructible til end of turn. So it has applications. Monstrous Step is also a cool card in Neyith builds.
The fight spells have two targets, your target creature and target creature an opponent controls. Since the spells have more than one target, if cast on Zada they would not trigger his ability.
I'd add temple or menace anthem doubling the power is a very strong effect and with getting natural card draw you dint need to lean to hard In the fight effects for card draw
I run this deck and it's an unexpected powerhouse. The tactic of the deck is essential just all removal cause you're just swinging your creatures around like their a flail. Running out of fight spells can be tricky if card draw isn't in your favor so I threw in Dreadhorde Arcanist & Backdraft Hellkite to get some flashback effects going. And if that doesn't work I find a combo of Electropotence and Temur Sabertooth and any high power creature to be a great source of to the face etb damage.
It would be really cool to see what you could do with fight mechanic with Tolsimir Friend to wolves in a wolf tribal deck, has a lot of great utility and board control with the right set up
@@afspeellijstnaruto it really does suffer from some issues and wolf tribal itself struggles alot. I've build my own version of it, sadly it's quite expensive but you can create quite an awesome deck when you combo off with tolsimir, panharmonicon and aura shards
I like the direction of this deck. I am going to merge some of the ideas with my Gargos, Vicious Watcher [hydra/fight tribal] deck. I'd recommend looking at Ezuri's Predation and Bow of Nylea.
Yeah. We know the main reason wayfarers is out of budget right now is because wizard didn't reprint it. But Mitch is the one that made us realize the good of the cards and thus make the cards more expensive that Sol Ring now. I do wish to see him play Wayfarers Bauble turn 1 on camera.
Get a marauding raptor in there if you put in polyraptor, can make yourself infinite polyraptors. Then if you can make marauding raptor fight something to die you can have a stupid amount of polyraptors to finish the game up. May be worth considering beast master ascension.
I really like Domri, Anarch of Bolas in this tech. $1.05 right now. You can -2 to fight and +1 gives you mana AND the creature you cast with that mana can't be countered. Passive +1/+0 is nice too
really kool idea, I had never thought of so many cards with fighting other creatures. I miss R/G beatdown decks, there hasn't been any good ones lately that synergize well.
I've been thinking about building this. I need a gruul deck. at first I was thinking, the easiest way is to just go Xenagos big stompy things, but this is a bit more fun.
If I was coming up with this tech deck, I'd remove Migration path (-$0.50) for Ranger's Path (+$0.20), remove Grow from Ashes (-$1.17) for Hunting Wilds (+$0.11), and add Cinder Glade (+$0.50) and Sheltered Thicket (+$1.25) over 2 Forests/Mountains (-$0.01), take out Font of Fertility (-$0.10) for Rampant Growth (+$0.20), for an added $0.71 overall. (still under $50 deck) Pros: Gives great mana fixing at a low rate for budget decks. Main Pros: Gives you cards that are more usable in other decks if you deconstruct this one. Cons: Removes a little flexibility from the cycling and the kicker. Argument: This deck is about using aggro to gain card advantage. I'd argue you'd rather have better fixing of mana over the flexibility given by these ramp spells. Especially since red is being used as a support color. If you draw both dual color (basic land type) lands, then you should be good on mana fixing anyway and focused on ramping up. Otherwise, always pick one or both of those 2. Additionally, giving yourself cards that are more reusable in a larger variety of decks is essential for saving money for those that don't keep decks for long stretches of time or upgrade and replace them. I think these replacements are usable in a variety of decks, especially in 3+ colors.
What do you think of Ezuris Predation (spelling?) It costs I think 5GGG and you make a 4/4 for each creature your opponents have then each 4/4 fights a different one of those creatures. It can be an explosive way to kill all the weak creatures and draw a ton of cards.
Because all the fights happen simultaneously, it actually only draws you a single card via Neyith. Still, it's a pseudo board wipe that sets up a massive follow-up turn...or current turn, if you have haste. I think it's a very reasonable consideration, myself.
I look at "End-Raze Forerunners" and think about "Starship-We built this city", because of the flavor text.... Smash this city! Smash this city to pieces! Oh- Smash this city! Smash this city to pieeeceeeees!!!
I'm honestly surprised that Brash Taunter wasn't the Golden Pig. Pump your big uglies and just start hitting people straight to the face for 10+ multiple times per turn.
Hey Mitch, I was wondering about the deck cost for cards. Do you go based off of the listed median on TCGPlayer, or do you go by the lowest possible price among the listings, including shipping? Tbh, I'd love to see a video where you break down how you go about brewing a deck
Speaking of Grunn, I have a Nyeith deck with Grunn in it. I had Grunn up over 40 power thanks to Nyeith and Xenagos and a few minor anthems. One gorilla to end them all. It was great.
2:39 First up, there's...not me, because I'm still more expensive than Sol Ring. As for reasonable upgrades, though...13:04 first up, there's me! And to put me in, we're going to take out Circuitous Route. I'm a little cheaper than I was yesterday, though: $2.86 for my Modern Masters 2015 printing. Please reprint me until I'm a budget card again.
I realize this is a budget channel and some of my recommendations don't fit that criteria. Anyway, here they are: Ezuri's Predation is a great card to add in if you're upgrading a card. If you were to pump a little more doe into the deck this card should be the first money card you add to the deck. Domri, Anarch of Bolas and Domri Rade are fairly cheap cards that can possibly have multiple fight interactions, also, one adds mana and one can draw you a creature. Scavenging Ooze is a great early play that controls your other's graveyards and gets big. Quartzwood Crasher is a big baddy that can create more big baddies. Magus of the Arena is another budget card that can have multiple fight triggers. Karametra's Acolyte and Leafkin Avenger are great, cheap mana rampers. Contested Cliffs is a land card that makes one of your beasts fight. Archetype of Endurance is a great card that protects your creatures and takes away heatproof from opposing creatures. Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma is a fairly cheap upgrade card that lowers the cost of your big creatures and pumps them up when it attacks.
Hey Mitch! Tom here. Thank you so much for the deck tech! I love it and I’m glad to see your channel grow so far!
Hope everyone gets a KICK out of this deck :)
Nobody make a comment. We cannot talk about this deck tech
what deck tech
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MITCH. You're one of my favorite EDH content creator. I've been following this channel for 2+ years now, and i have been loving it. thank you for the video.
I allways wanted this deck and finnaly mitch made a deck tech for this.
Too bad its over a hundred and twenty-five bucks :(
SAME!
Thanks for all your efforts Mitch, I discovered this series recently and now I am building both Neyith and Brallin/Shabraz based on your suggestions. Keep up!
What happened to the card prices under the cards?
I've built Neyith and she is by far the funnest deck I've made so far. You draw a TON. You should never run out of gas. You are always forcing bad blocks and fight works surprisingly well for spot removal. In my experience, either mammoth should really be the golden pig but great video!

This deck seems REALLY powerful. Good job mitch! Cindervines would be a reasonable upgrade, that card is nutty in commander
just got neyith a couple of days ago.. i'll give it a try.. Thanks, mitch!
Great decktech but could have used one more princess monoke reverence cause she literally lives with wolves! 🙂
Fell in love with her the moment she got spoiled so very happy youre building her.

3:49 Anyone notice how perfect Mitch's announcer voice is?
FINALLY IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE THE MOMENT SHE WAS ANNOUNCED!!!!
Now your gonna start comparing font of fertility to wayfarers bauble. Mitch is on the mission of increasing that cards price now, start buying them up
But unlike bauble which certain colors have no alternative to, green non budget decks never need font
I have been waiting for this deck tech for so long
omg, mitch's smile after the joke, it's great 💖💖
Season of Growth (2CMC):

Wild Defiance is also good.

This deck looks amazing, only card I think I would have added would have been Zada, Hedron Grinder to copy all the fight spells

I was looking to convert my ruric thar and old Ayula deck to a Neyith deck and this is perfect for it!
I like the direction of this deck. I am going to merge some of the ideas with my Gargos, Vicious Watcher [hydra/fight tribal] deck. I'd recommend looking at Ezuri's Predation and Bow of Nylea.
What a coincidence, I noticed her price dropped and bought my build of her this week.
13:04 First of There's Wayfarer's Bauble
The funniest part about it is he didn't even explain why he was putting it in there, everyone just knows lmao
Yeah. We know the main reason wayfarers is out of budget right now is because wizard didn't reprint it. But Mitch is the one that made us realize the good of the cards and thus make the cards more expensive that Sol Ring now. I do wish to see him play Wayfarers Bauble turn 1 on camera.
Sweet deck 🥰 Please take Araumi for a spin soon 🥺

I'm surprised Grothama, The All Devouring wasn't the golden pig
I built her and really enjoyed it but shes stronger as a 1v1 commander so I converted her into a Marisi deck for my groups multiplayer games.
I really like Domri, Anarch of Bolas in this tech. $1.05 right now. You can -2 to fight and +1 gives you mana AND the creature you cast with that mana can't be countered. Passive +1/+0 is nice too
Domri Rade is a nice reasonable upgrade too.
Nice Deck! Please build one with Inniaz, the gale force as commander :)
Frankly surprised Mitch didn't add Triangle of War just for the memes: "It's like Wayfarer's Bauble but for fight rather than ramp."
Dang, this looks fun. If we weren't in a plague, I might build this.
really kool idea, I had never thought of so many cards with fighting other creatures. I miss R/G beatdown decks, there hasn't been any good ones lately that synergize well.
I've been thinking about building this. I need a gruul deck. at first I was thinking, the easiest way is to just go Xenagos big stompy things, but this is a bit more fun.
The spell cost is huge in the deck tech. Need more artifact support. But still good.
I doubt it would be any budget, but can you give your opinion about leyline tribal deck?
Im thinking of using this deck tech for the template for Tuya Bearclaw
If I was coming up with this tech deck, I'd remove Migration path (-$0.50) for Ranger's Path (+$0.20),
remove Grow from Ashes (-$1.17) for Hunting Wilds (+$0.11),
and add Cinder Glade (+$0.50) and Sheltered Thicket (+$1.25) over 2 Forests/Mountains (-$0.01),
take out Font of Fertility (-$0.10) for Rampant Growth (+$0.20),
for an added $0.71 overall. (still under $50 deck)
Pros: Gives great mana fixing at a low rate for budget decks.
Main Pros: Gives you cards that are more usable in other decks if you deconstruct this one.
Cons: Removes a little flexibility from the cycling and the kicker.

Season of growth seems like it would be amazing in this deck!
Did I miss the mana pool breakdown?
What about adding in Marauding Raptor?
This deck seems awesome!
I really want to see a Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith deck tech based around the rocks he makes.
What do you think of Ezuris Predation (spelling?) It costs I think 5GGG and you make a 4/4 for each creature your opponents have then each 4/4 fights a different one of those creatures. It can be an explosive way to kill all the weak creatures and draw a ton of cards.

Você é incrível amigo, excelente trabalho sou seu fã.
I look at "End-Raze Forerunners" and think about "Starship-We built this city", because of the flavor text....
Smash this city!
Smash this city to pieces!
Oh- Smash this city!
Smash this city to pieeeceeeees!!!
IM BUILDING HER NOW AND WAS PRAYING YOU WOULD DO ONE MITCH!! genius
Is there a reason why Sol Ring and Command Tower are not in the deck list?
FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!
The ultimate upgrade to Autumn's Veil... Veil of Summer.
I would also add in 3 Mana Domri and Ghalta.
Hey mitch I pulled a wayfarer's bauble from a zendikar set booster. Was super pumped can you build a deck off of it. Lol
I'm honestly surprised that Brash Taunter wasn't the Golden Pig. Pump your big uglies and just start hitting people straight to the face for 10+ multiple times per turn.
i have Neyith built, love it so much!, Brash Taunter wins games peeps! lol
I guess I will include Equipment that adds "deathtouch": Basilisk Collar, Gorgon Flail, and/or Gorgon's Head. 😅😉
Hey Mitch, I was wondering about the deck cost for cards. Do you go based off of the listed median on TCGPlayer, or do you go by the lowest possible price among the listings, including shipping? Tbh, I'd love to see a video where you break down how you go about brewing a deck
Need to do a Grunn the lonely king deck tech 😁
Speaking of Grunn, I have a Nyeith deck with Grunn in it. I had Grunn up over 40 power thanks to Nyeith and Xenagos and a few minor anthems. One gorilla to end them all. It was great.
Seems like a fun deck.
There's only 99 cards on the tcg player deck list I'm guessing the missing one is a land because there are only 34
2:39 First up, there's...not me, because I'm still more expensive than Sol Ring. As for reasonable upgrades, though...13:04 first up, there's me! And to put me in, we're going to take out Circuitous Route. I'm a little cheaper than I was yesterday, though: $2.86 for my Modern Masters 2015 printing. Please reprint me until I'm a budget card again.
I absolutely /love/ this build.
great deck tech and cheap.
Princess Mononoke has never looked so good.
I realize this is a budget channel and some of my recommendations don't fit that criteria. Anyway, here they are:
Ezuri's Predation is a great card to add in if you're upgrading a card.
Veeeery niceee!!
It feels like forever since a normal episode
Neiyth doesn't have red in the casting cost. How can red be used here?
She has a red mana symbol in her text
The budget is getting higher.
The new Halana, Kessig Ranger would be great in this deck
Too bad she doesn't give fight triggers, still great though. Each creature spell turns into a kill spell for 2 mana more.
I was fighting zombies earlier on COD
Yo I love this commander
Some good content. Tnx
This looks cool
Even at heavily played this costs me $127.00 from your TCG Player link and im shipping to California
im surprised that he didnt include brash taunter as a reasonable upgrade
What? No Cartouche of Strength?
Too bad Domri's Ambush doesn't say fight
Oh yeah! the barbarian waifu and her doggo! that's what I was waiting for :D
The lands, where are the lands?
Bonders' Enclave, Contested Cliffs, and Oran-Rief, the Vastwood
Make more close quarters please.
I feel like hydras could make this deck meaner, but I’m just a guy who likes hydras soooo
Have fun killing their lands with Thresher Beast
First
A fight club deck without Bosom Buddy? Scandalous!
