@@OffBallLax hey I’m I’m in a 5th to 6th grade league for girls and it’s my first time playing but I’ve played sports similar so I’m pretty good a catching and throwing I need to learn defense like maybe how u steal a ball or the distance u can be from ur defender that kinda stuff
@@tweisman109 Here is a great video and an awesome person to follow for all things womens lacrosse. ruclips.net/video/4mdTaafiPfI/видео.html Stealing is a nice thought but any coach will take a person that plays great position defense every day. Unfortunately you will have to check with you coach on the "contact" rules for your age as some leagues do it different. I hope this helps!

Put pads on these girls and let them play.
I know one of my girls wouldn't be disappointed with that idea.
Officials are not instructed to push down on the ball during stick check-merely drop it in the head and see that it rolls freely in both directions, including rolling out freely when the stick is tipped downward by 90 degrees. Very helpful video!

Rule change this year says the ref no longer pushes down on the ball during the stick check.
