i think if nakazato didnt crash he couldve won, or atleast nearly won. hes honestly a great driver, its just that understeer and the fact that he gets nervous and pressured to easily causing him to crash
I wonder, there shouldn't be anything wrong with him losing in a gtr, but by having the best car he could get his hands on he felt he was not allowed to lose. That reminds me, there was a drama CD specifically for Nakazato learning to accept loses to make him better, and it was Shingo that insulted him for being so scared of losing in the first place. It was when Mako and Sayuki found the white gtr that Nakazato lost to, so that he could redeem himself, but his first response was to avoid the challenge or something.
Takeshi is insulted so much but he was supposed to be a intelligent character in initial d.. skilled guy but lost all races shown in initial d. Fucked up by the writers...

I mean, the Ae86 had a rival whose car was a legendary beast, with an attesa system, with Twin Turbo, and then the next one was a front-wheel drive car with VTEC technology, I mean lol.
Nakazato is the first one to go: "If you can't beat AWDs, embrace AWD." Sadly he is good at drifting and just needs some training at countersteering and the entry.

Unless, your an American in a super secret vehicle Initial D can't escape in Touge FBI can't catch us nor block anyone with our ...... Japanese 80 - 2000 cars. They have to catch us like those NFS Cops. But they can't drift nor GTR brake-steer
it only just dawned on me that Nakazato overheating his front tires effectively nullified the advantage of ATTESA ET-S, which is why he ended up spinning. just too reliant on the car's performance, even though he was still a good driver
how did you edit the gtr edit at the race track in the beginning. It was like you cut and pasted the gtr and its movements from the touge to the race track.
