I visited The Hive yesterday... a wonderful experience. I heard the bees working and making noises on a muggy late morning. Amazing to see the lights come up where they are active elsewhere, in a real hive. Love the ambient sounds you can hear as you go in - and the natural meadow area outside. Good for meditation too. A really ingenious construction... Look forward to seeing it after dark!

Perhaps if you visit you'll change your mind :)
@@enginemonkey yup
not even close to what any beekeeper experiences, better watch beekeeping videos on RUclips or having your own honeybees
Well I am not a beekeeper, but we have the Thames Valley Beekeeping society near where I live, and I have been in to see the bees working. You hear more buzzing perhaps, and see the real bees. But The Hive is intended as an artistic and aesthetic experience, as well as an academic one. And it promotes interest in saving bees for the visitors, and anyone who hears about it
Strange observation Paulo. It's art. It's not trying to match the experience.
