The run defense is better without Micah on the edge. Gotta play Micah at linebacker most of the time then move him to DE on obvious passing downs.

Coach Zimmer is doing a good job with the injuries we have. It is not easy to project what these 2nd string players can do. As they don't get alot of reps. It was Good team defense not pretty at times but enough to help with the win! GO COWBOYS!

The players must step up and the team must be creativity together and through the hard times show who you will be in your core mission mindset attitude
Its crazy how we played as a team instead of leaning on the same names we always do
I Need A Guy To "DO HIS JOB, AND NOT GO MAKE A PLAY" You Have Guts To Tell {Micah} That. We Don't Need Him On The Line. He's To Small! With His Speed We Need Him On Running Backs & Tight Ends Coming Out The Back Field! Or Using His Speed Going Side Line To Side Line. A Fred Warren, Sean Lee, Junior Seau In That It Requires Study And Reading The Play On Every Down, Plus It Requires More Energy. You Have To Take Yourself Out At Time! The Big Thing You Not Going To Get 14, 15, 16 Sacks A Year. And Be Up For Defensive 🏆MVP. But You Running The Play To Someone Else. You Protecting The Middle, When Safety's Help On The Run! More Then Anything, It Stop Teams Pulling A Guard To The Lift Side, Then Chipping Him With A Tight End, Then Have The Running Back Run To That Same Side. 340 Pounds, Plus Another 340 Pounds Pulling With Momentum Coming All The Way Across! No Matter How Good The Running Back Is He Getting Around! Maybe At First, At Times He Use His Speed, To Get By A Lineman, And Used Speed Plus Leverage To Push Him Back! 3 Quarters Of That. Every Run Play Going To That Side To The 2 Safety's Coming To Help. And The Middle Going To Be Open Like In The Green Bay Game Last Year. Or The Before The Tight End George Kittle Was The Different's! Outside Of Dak Getting His Playoff Average 2 Interception. People Want To Be Lawrence Taylor, Lawrence Taylor Was Small But He Had The Personnel. Big Jim Burt's On The Side Of Him, And Harry Carson Calling Plays At Middle Linebacker. You Couldn't Double Lawrence Taylor Not At All. The Same With DeMarcus Ware, With Greg Ellis On The Other End Can't No Guard Leave His Spot And Pull To The Left Side And Double Demarcus Ware! Plus Marcus Spears 320-340 Was On The Side Of DeMarcus Ware Really That Was The Key. He Had Freedom To Rush The Passer. The Last Time You Heard About Von Miller. And The 3-4 Defense For Him Was The Super Bowl will DeMarcus Ware On The Other End. It Started At Texas A &M, That Wrecking Crew Defense You Couldn't Double Nobody. Anybody Can Play On The End. When He Got Drafted By The Denver Broncos They Already Had A Good! The Same With Dallas Micah Rookie Year, With Demarcus Lawrence In The Middle And Randy Gregory On The End That Change The The Story. Dorian Armstrong And Fowler Is Gone To Washington. I Love Micah Play I Wear His Jersey All The Time! But I Need Him Rushing The Passer From The Middle Of The Defense After Someone Else Hit The Center And Nose Guard. If Not, Coaches Going To Start Taking Him Out On 1st Down. I'm Surprised Greg Ellis Haven't Talked To Him. 4.3 Speed On The Corner Every Play 🙄! Every Offensive Coordinator Love It. We Know Where 11 Is, We Don't Have To Worry About It, We'll Just Run That Way, To The Safety's Come Help. 10 Games Of That, And Tell Me How It Work Out.

I think DQ gave the guys a lot of freedom to make plays outside of their assignments and play “hero ball”. And I think the players have had a tough time not doing what they’re used too, but now we’re seeing that the defense is much better when they stick to their assignments and stay in their gaps! Detroit will be a huge test to see if they’re improving or just playing bad teams.
Zimmer deserved a game ball for this one...great defense without 2 or 3 of your star defenders.
