I spoke in tongues while writing two exams that I didn't prepare for and decided I won't ask anyone for help because of love for God. I saw the results today and I failed them. My spirit was downcast thinking God did not hear me even after I've been confessing my exploit in the exams and practicing the way I will testify to the glory of God. If you want to be rich, go work hard and smart. - Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, wonderful Pastor and great human being lost his first wife (Bimbo Odukoya) to a plane crash, second wife to cancer, lost his twin sister to cancer, and he finally died of maybe heartbreak got through those trauma. - Bishop Oyedepo's wife was down with cancer for almost 2 years. They flew her out of the country to get excellent medical care and they hid it from the Church members. Remember, they've given them slogan, "I can never be sick". They later share the testimony after survival. - Myles Munroe died of a plane crash. - Pastor Adeboye's 42 year old son died in his sleep. - Pastor Kumuyi's first wife (Abiodun Kumuyi) died of cancer at 57. - Pastor Enenche Benue resident Pastor (Emmanuel Ahmed) died when their Church building collapsed on his head. - Pastor Enenche 40+ year old younger brother suddenly slumped and died in 2016. - Osinachi, a great music minister died at 42. Some say DV is the cause. The husband claimed the cause was lung cancer, not DV. I have a lot more examples, but let me save space. Where is the result we are even claiming? We are far less holy, we are poorer, our life expectancy is lower after 40+ years of prosperity/healing Gospel. Some people say, the Church is richer because of the gigantic buildings we now have. I tell them to judge the Church by the networth of the members cos the members are the Church. All these faith/healing preachers must calm down and preach the purpose of Christianity. Let's stop deceiving people and show them real data. We were better of before they imported this American Faith/Healing Gospel. If you tell people you are a Christian in Nigeria in the 60s, 70s, and maybe 80s, they respect you. In fact, there is a denomination called Scripture Union (SU). People use their members as banks. They said if you keep money in the hands of SU member, even if he's dying of hunger, he won't touch your money. Today in Nigeria, calling yourself Pastor in a business meeting is even a red flag. The purpose of Christianity is Salvation, that is, a guarantee of life after death. All Christians MAY experience everything (failure, loss of loved ones, success, trauma) every other human beings experience, as long as we are in this world. Miracles are by-product. It may happen and it may not happen.
He is power and wisdom. I have been suffering from a UTI that refuse drugs for 17 years.Just recently when i stopped praying for healing and started asking for wisdom. I recieved relief.
