Embed
- Published on Apr 18, 2026
- Fish and chips might now only be the UK's second favourite dish - but this father and son are keeping London's fish and chips tradition alive despite rising prices and changing tastes.
In this video we spend a Friday at this London fish and chips shop on Friday - the busiest day of the week.
See behind the scenes of a London fish and chips shop during the busy lunchtime and dinner rush!
You can find Pisces Fish & Chips on google maps here: maps.app.goo.g...

I'm 89 years old watching this at 5am and my mouth is watering !.I can remember when fish and chips cost 10 old pence and there was 240 pennies to the pound so you could get 24 portions of fish and chips for a pound sterling.A bag of chips was two pence, how times have changed. Good luck to this hard working family looks like they are making a lot of people happy.
I hope you found something nice to eat at 5am! If you are in England, then it was a cold morning today! Thank you for sharing those memories with us, times certainly have changed. Thank you for the nice comment and support for Apo and his family ❤️❤️
Out of my budget 😢
It tends to have that effect on me too. 😅
You are up far too early 😅😂
@FindEatGoI love Fish& Spuds, wth irish parents that's a given.( All kinds) But generally i'm not the biggest fan of Batter, but looking at the quality of ur ' Fresh fish& the batter,it challenges that position.
So the nxt time I'm in London,I will jump on the train& check ur Rest out,it's most impressive.
And the locals in that community are fortunate to have ur Rest/Take Out there.
And ur Dad has done a marvelous job,he knows his business ( The one u w/b inheriting some day).Good luck.
Father is blessed and fortunate to have a son like that
They make a great team :)
Son is blessed to have a father who gave him a successful profitable business lol
I have trained so many people in 20 plus years it makes me sick! all the bull shit that goes on is disgusting and the guy trying to just do his job is having to do more. for what? favor?
@Charlesjay7 That's the truth.
@FindEatGowhat is the frying medium?what kind of oil? Or is it lard?
Family owned restaurants. These people work their tails off! It has to be a labour of love. The food looks delicious and I love supporting these kinds of places instead of huge corporations. God Bless them.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Because they cook with love and not only chasing tons of profits.
I run a traditional chippie in Canada, this is exactly what we do. Well done for keeping the trade alive and the food fresh and the menu simple. Fish and chips when done properly is the best!
Thanks for the support! Hope to eat some fish and chips in Canada someday :)
where in canda please so I can one day try it
@FindEatGo why one day ? Eat today and i will pay for your food. Are to ready?
Fellow CDN here. Hope you aren't charging $36 CAD per plate like these lads do. That's rediculous.
@rockbutcher I saw that too. Whew.
Great to see a traditional British business doing well with people who obviously take pride in their work.
Thank you ❤️
By a Turkish family.
@baldrick1485 Are they turkish?! lmao
@baldrick1485in Britain.
@wellstone1897Maybe Greek, or Cypriot, who have long made the best fish and chips, in London.
It’s really nice to see some places still keeping English and British traditions alive, thank you 👏🏻🇬🇧🏴
I have noticed that most of my life I have consumed things, be it, food, entertainment, etc. I realize that this video shows that many people out there bring the world to life for me the consumer. As they said in the video, it takes a lot of skill and dedication for the father, son, and employees to run this shop. I have never met a restaurant owner who is "in it to get rich". It takes work and sacrifice. So what I'm saying is I'm grateful to all the people who bring the world to life with things for me and others to buy and experience. It doesn't happen for free. Thank you
You are 100% right! Thank you for the nice comment ❤️❤️
@FindEatGowell said Darren from Australia
From South Africa ❤
Fish and chip shops are in challenging times. Apo and his family have my highest respect for being so dedicated to their trade. The premises are clean, well designed, they have all the gadgets, but most importantly they don't compromise on food quality. That's why they're successful, and they deserve every last bit of it.
Thank you for the kind words and support for Apo and his family ❤️
I can see that!! WOW! Mmmmmm! Looks yummy!
Como se llama el lugar ? Cuando vaya a Londres quiero visitarlo gracias
@Isabelmanchegait’s literally in the video a hundred times wtf
They arent in challenging times whatsoever. Who told you that??
I like how he said "No matter how long you are in the trade you will be learning everyday" truly if you are learning everyday then you are progressing.
It's really a clean process, and everything looks absolutely delicous!
❤️❤️
Looks very easy machine to peel machine to cut into chips. The same every day.
@ardongrainford8004Imagine how long it would take to peel and cut all those potatoes, you would be there all day.
Makes me want to catch a flight for some proper fish and chips
Hello from Edmonton,Alberta!!Great video and the food looks great as well!!❤🇨🇦🇬🇧😊
A fabulous bit of British life. There is nothing better than fish and chips, well cooked and served with pride, like these.
Not for long.
@TonyRuleWhy not?
literally anything is better than brit food... saying "theres nothing better" makes you an idiot... invalidates your opinion... labels you a liar.. gtfo
@TEXAS45ACPgood fish and chips is one of the best things you can eat full stop
@TEXAS45ACP Go and boil your head. Oh sorry, you already have.
For those of us who grew up in Canada, the fish and chip shop was just around the corner. Malt vinegar, mushy peas, fresh fries and of course halibut. All would come in a small cardboard box wrapped in newsprint.
Not too many fish & chips restaurants left in Scarborough, ON anymore.
No wonder the shop is so busy; fresh fish, fresh potatoes, cooked to order. This reminds me when I was in the Navy and we visited Great Britain. I and my friends to the train from Portsmouth to London. We stopped at a fish and chips shop. That food was delicious.
Thanks for sharing your story! Sounds like some good memories. :)
How’s that fresh fish? Caught weeks or months earlier and delivered frozen to UK shops. Fresh fish is when you go to Greece or Croatia or similar places and local fishermen goes out fishing at 4am and comes back with fresh fish about 9am and all locals buying that fresh alive fish
@milerale5286 Are you nuts or did you not watch at all?
It's delivered daily, never been frozen. Don't know where you live, I've got a fishmonger down the road that gets fresh fish delivered within 12 hours and then delivered the same day. I live in England, I bet you you don't.
Now for your homework, degrease you ears, watch and listen.
Then 100 lines - @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching @milerale5286 comments without watching And so on until you get to 100.
Could have got yourself some good fish and chips in Portsmouth. Coastal cities have the best!
@radeon08 You'd likely get bummed by a sailor there.
Now 70 and almost loving it. I used to be what you are now. And miss it bless you all❤
Glad it brought back some good memories! Thanks for your comment ❤️
@FindEatGo Thanks for your hard work, guys.
It’s always heartwarming to see people making authentic dishes that are close to their heart and culture ❤
Lot's of hard work, they have my respect
Thank you! It was amazing to see how much hard work goes into every meal!
Lots of prep and clean up also. Not all glamourous, but it's just part of the job.
yes very hard workers and terrific chefs
Wow! What a fish & chip shop! Wonderful people, Apo, his mum and dad, and the hard workers in the kitchen! Apo is not wrong about the expertise it takes to run such a quality fish and chip shop. Great to see elderly people there twice a week. Fish, chips, and batter of that quality can never be bad for you. Thank you, Find Eat Go! Subscriber from Australia!
Thank you so much for watching from Australia! ❤️
Hello, happy day,
I hope you are well, I’m asking a big favor, I wanna to start a business, but I need that somebody may lend me some money
Would you like to help me?
It is in Cali Colombia
I love the places that still do fresh cut chips as opposed to frozen ones. They taste so much better.
60 year old Londoner here- just down the road in Wembley- watched this with a critical eye as I worked as a boy for me mate's Dad- who was the ORIGINAL - Cod-Father in the 70's - he would work outside Wembley Stadium - then at other football grounds - Chelsea - West Ham and my favourite was the 2 weeks of Wimbledon--- so I say critical as there is a LOT of skill to keeping the temperature correct and the cleanliness of the cooking area- and it's plain to see that father and son - Apo - run a proper gaff - top notch in ALL departments - LOVELY to see the pride they take making the best food and service they can for their customers. I'm watching this and drooling as now live in USA and LOVE my fish n chips - can't get em here in the USA - MANY, MANY posers who claim they make em- Irish and English pubs ALL proper PONY!!! Most are fish finger shaped or fancy gougons instead of a whole piece of fish and proper like dare I say and compare tempura type batter! Anyways wishing the Pisces family long, long success and will defo pop in next time over :)
That is very interesting - some people really do think it's easy, but after watching Apo and the team work, I was surprised just how much skill and work goes into it!
A lot of other people in the comments are in a similar situation to you, Brits who are in America and craving some good fish and chips!
Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Phony
Same for USA who visited and like you said in the USA no one makes it like in the UK.
Haven't been able to stop in Canada when working ...driving through in a tractor trailer...
Lovely to see hardworking people fighting to maintain alive what is left of British culture in London. I wish you success in your business.
Thank you for the support! ❤️
I now live in the USA, but grew up in Manchester England, those fish and chips brought back the memories of my childhood.
So glad it brought back good memories! ❤️
Long hours, hard graft, decades of skill and pride in what they do. Great to see.
Thank you! ❤️
Even with Apo's experience, I enjoyed what he said that 'he is still learning'.
Dad had watchful eye when Apo, with all his experience was placing the battered fish in the fryer!
🙂
American here…lived and loved LONDON for 17 years ; grateful for all the lovely memories of
BEST fish and chips❗️Thanks for super Video.
So happy the video brought back good memories for you! ❤️ Thanks for watching!
Me too (10 yrs though) and oh the memories of a side of the crackly bits!
Such hard working people who love their profession and keeping customers happy...amazing..All the best to PISCES Fish and Chips Team..
❤️❤️❤️
From Australia. My late Dad was English from Stepney. Your video was not only excellently done, but just listening to the hub bub of the fish shop, the sizzling of the fish and chips, and the passion of everyone doing their job with excellence and commitment. This watching was just as satisfying as if I'd purchased a Cod with Chips, vinegar and salt with lemon. A mini movie. So good to see that the fish is fresh daily and the potatoes are so well prepared. Yummo!
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
Sadly you can’t get this quality standard anywhere in Australia ❤
Looks great but fried foods close your arteries so not sure how healthy this is??????
Thank you for your dedication to feeding the common working men and women a decent non-processed meal for all these generations.. In this day of fast-food, and all these additives and preservatives, we need more shops that are from-scratch and whole organic minimally processed foods...
As an elder who loves my treat. Fish/chips. I now make it my self twice a month. Air fryer ...Thick chips, fresh fish dipped in egg/floor and oven roasted. Homemade wild garlic yogurt dip. Pot of tea. Wholemeal bread. My date nite.
Sounds absolutely delicious! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Fantastic to see a busy, thriving and successful family business on our high street!! Well done to them.
Thank you for the kind words! 👍
That looks absolutely delicious!!! I’m hungry!
❤️❤️
Those crispy sausages looked...well...yummy!
"No matter how long you have been in the trade for, you are going to learn everyday." love that
I used to live locally and often got my fish and chips from this place. it's great to see it still going and getting some wider publicity
That's great to hear! They definitely deserve as much recognition as possible 😊
As a student I had a summer job as kitchen porter in a F&C restaurant in a seaside town in the UK in the 1970s. The kitchen and fryer were down in the cellar (pre-global warming era). It was owned by an ex-US navy chef, who'd set himself up in business with his British wife. They closed the restaurant from October to April and worked hard during the holiday season. That was a different era, but quite honestly, it was the worst job I've ever had, even though it gave me an insight into the life of the seasonal trades. The hours were long, the pay was poor, and the work was hard. I left after six weeks for a better-paying job in the same town. Happily, the experience didn't affect my love of fish & chips
Sounds like quite the experience, thanks for sharing! Glad it didn't ruin fish & chips for you! 😂
Brutal 😢 I couldn't
Now that is what you call fish and chips best of the best proud to be British 😊😊😊😊
I've had my tea, I know I'm not hungry, But I really want fish and chips now. This is a great shop, clean, and I like that it is a family business.
Haha no need to be hungry when the food is tasty 🤣 Thank you for watching and commenting!
My Gran whose husband was a man from Halifax/Penistone region took me to Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips shop before she died. It was the dearest memory she had of her husband who'd passed away in 1969... Sending out respect from New Jersey. This shop is impressive!
Thank you the nice comment and sharing your story! Cheers ❤️
@FindEatGo 💗
The absolute only reason to visit the UK!!🇬🇧 Looks amazing.
Wow - That looks like the best fish & chips shop in London - Top class product with top class cooking & of course top class staff...
❤️❤️❤️
When little i got a bag of scraps , happy memories
❤️❤️
No scraps from here though, I saw them thrown in the bin!
I lived in London in 1982 to 1988, and there is nothing better than British Fish and Chips, my favourite ❤ subscriber from Indonesia, thank you for this lovely video 😍
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
I’m 58 and worked in a chippy as a kid, spuds in the rumbler and bucketed up to the shop. Packed and out the door on a friday night and sausage and chips for my tea!
Sounds like great memories! Thanks for sharing! ❤️
Nothing gets me higher than something from the fryer.
Very Satisfying to watch People who care so much about Quality and Doing It the Right Way!!
Glad you enjoyed watching! ❤️
Amazing work! I did see a RUclips vids from month back saying that fish and chip shops were closing due to how expensive fish now was. Glad people are still willing to pay for something fresh and worth the price.
They are in decline for sure, but I think people will always want to eat a good meal of fish and chips ❤️
They throw the scraps away ??? They are the best part...
Only northerners eat scraps.
yeah! As kids we used to ask for the free scraps
He puts them in a separate compartment at 24:40 in video. It should be a criminal offence for any chippy to throw scraps away!
Probably keeps them for his family!
@Narcolepzzzzzzzz I believe that's a disposal unit. You would never refry scraps, and they would be cold, greasy and soft coming out of that bin.
When you forget that the camera man is a real person stood there, making sure he's in the optimum spot so you can soak it all in. Feels like I am there. i just love how you have let the action do the talking in your videos.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for appreciating the cameraman's hard work :) ❤️❤️
Amazing insight into how a fish shop works, makes you appreciate the art. They look excellent fish and chips fair play.
It sure is a lot of work and effort behind the scenes! Thank you for watching and commenting, cheers!
Looks not only fresh and yummy but *CLEAN AF* Nice one 🐟🍟😋
Thank you ❤️❤️
Yes i would have no issue with paying a little more for food like they serve and a clean environment!
22:10 didn't know Van Dam worked in a chip shop.
They seem well organised. Double cooking the chips is good
They definitely have everything running like clockwork, I was very impressed ❤️
Food looks wonderful and Apo is very well spoken.
The sheer effort of daily cleaning must be daunting.
Great video.
Thank you! I actually had the same thought about the cleaning - I should have stayed until the end and filmed the cleaning process, but wasn't sure if it would be interesting for the video. Maybe next time!
An absolute insight into a fabulous restaurant and takeaway, so lovely to see a family come together with the same values. The food looks very tasty. Thank you for showing us. Beautiful food and great to see. X♥️💙🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
Looks fabulous - I hope the UK can keep chippies alive and not get buried in shawarma and falafel shops.
You do realise the owners of this are Turkish? There is no room in England for your racism.
I have recently discovered a chippy that still fries in beef dripping. I am in heaven.
You soon will be. HA waiting to happen, keep taking the statins.
This is like a creek salad😊
I'd love to see a set up exactly like this in the states.
Come up to Canada and visit mine! Edmonton Alberta!
I'm a 69 year old Texan and my Wife is a 64 year old British Woman. That being said, I absolutely love Fish and Chips (even more than Steak!), as does my Wife and we'd eat it everyday, If we could get it. The Problem is, here where we Live in Texas, the closest thing we have to Fish and Chips is Long John Silvers (yeah, I KNOW!). The closest one of those to us is about 60 miles away and they are Expensive. Their 2 pc fish meal is about $7.00 or so and the fish portions are nowhere near as big as those in the Video (the fish in the Video almpst had me drooling! 🤤. Several years back, we'd heard a Rumor that they were going to build a Long John Silvers really close to us (it never happened) and I was torn between feeling glad that we'd be finally able to get it without having to travel an hour.....BUT sad because I knew if it happened, I'd go broke! LOL! 🤣
haha, they say every cloud has a silver lining 🤣🤣🤣 Might be worth trying to cook some at home yourself, some people were sharing recipes in the comments here earlier.
Thank you for watching the video ❤️
Maybe you and your wife xould start up an fish and chips store.
Nice job guys ❤ from Canada ❤❤❤
Thank you! ❤️❤️
I wish I could teleport there and enjoy lunch 3-4 times a week, lol.
You can! Just click your heels three times while saying “I want my fish and chips”
Proper chips, thick cut and not over cooked. 👏
Agreed - the best kind of chips! ❤️
Looks incredible. No shortcuts, just tradition and hard work. 👍
There are three things I remember of london of the early seventies: the coin-operated gas meter the bus conductor shouting "Any more fares?" and fish and chips wrapped in a daily paper sheet.
You lost it to immigrants, sorry for it
I love the idea of the mesh hats instead of a hair net. Absolutely brilliant!
It's common all across the UK...and parts of Europe.
Good to see they use REAL ingredients :)
Nothing beats a good fish and chips meal!! Keep up the good work fellas.
Thank you! ❤️❤️
I've been here a few times. Good to see some of the behind the scene activities.
Great video 👍
Hi where is this based would love to try
Awesome to hear you've visited! Thanks for the kind words 👍
@kinggarv5148you didn't get a reply but the other guy you asked about where this place is, did. Hmm🤔
@kinggarv5148 They are in Eastcote in London, about 2 minutes walk from the underground station. This is there location on google maps: maps.app.goo.gl/rVQhL6zHizjMwWGF7
@FindEatGomuch appreciated many thanks
Looks amazing 👏 👏👏👌👌👌👍👍🙏💟💟💟 fantastic
❤️❤️❤️
In Swindon. Cod and chips twice please on a Friday night......Thats £25 quid mate....Oh....OK....Rest of the week beans on toast.
Fresh, quality ingredients cooked with commitment, skill and pride. Typical fried chicken and burger outlets just can’t match them. May they long continue to thrive.
Thanks for the kind comment!
absolutely amazing, keeping a tradition alive. Fresh food, a great son, wonderful parents.
Thank you so much for the kind words! ❤️
Absolutely fabulous shop! When I was young with no money, we could get "the bits" for 2p which was just the bits of batter and chips left over from cooking.
Brenda~~. Thanks for mentioning what those were! 😆 Someone else on here mentioned "bits" and I had no clue what they meant. Now I know! 🤗👍😅 xoxo
I've worked in fish and chips spots here in Harlem NYC, so I have MAD respect for the foundation the Dad has laid down for his Son to come on board and be the Face of the business..... Tally Ho!
The Dad looks like Elvis Costello 😂
Thanks for sharing your experience - Hopefully one day we can do some filming in NYC!
@Iforgotit58 I would guess Greek ? At one time all the fish and chip shops here in Dublin were Italian owned and run .They all came from the same village in Italy .
Love it, can't beat proper fish and chips.
Father must be proud of a son like this 😊
Well done chaps, beautiful to see such English tradition, patriotism, along with fresh perfectly cooked delicious looking food and streamline processes and proper standards and hygiene 🇬🇧🏴👏👌
They run a tight ship! Was a pleasure to watch them at work. Thank you for the nice comment 👍
❤❤❤❤ Yes Thank YOU 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I run and fried in fish & chip shop come sit-in for 20 years and I loved my job ..Hard work 🐟🐠🍟real Spud's 🥔🥰
That's awesome to hear! Hard work pays off! 😊
Omg I want it now! Great video, and what a lovely team! Will deffo be visiting 😁
So glad you enjoyed it! Hope you get to visit soon 😊
Food of the gods. We live in Perth, Australia and regularly have fish & chips (from Brighton Road fish & chip shop) with fish always tender plus crispy batter & delish chips. Took a while to find a good chippy but these guys are the best.
Oh my, I wish we could get fish and chips like this in the United States. That looks incredibly delicious!!
Exactly I wish the same. The states lack variety and great quality food like what they have in Europe and Britain.
You can, just depends where youre at. Ive got a traditional chippy here in charleston. Its so freakn good
@Playswithfire3782The Codfather? Great place!
@nebraska7598yep, love it. Gotta go to the og one though, on spruil
I wish there was a place like this near me in the states everything looks so delicious.
So do I. I'm from America.
They have artisanship educated from the History and their parents. I think continuation like them is quite a value. Hope their wonderful art continue forever. Thank you,
Guys.
My Friday night treat after Boy's Brigade parade in the 60's. 6d chips and a pickled onion !
Sounds like a good night out :)
Hey, I’m a Boys Brigade veteran too, 70s 👏
I know it’s hard times for everyone, and London prices are insane; but my GOD £16 for fish and chips hurts to see.
At least they’ve got customers I guess…
Wish we had fish and chip shops like this in Australia
Looks absolutely delicious I wish we had fish and chips like this in Australia ! Proper, nothing short of ambrosia ! I'm booking a flight to London just to go to this shop! 👍👌
Come on over you are more than welcome! ❤️❤️
Keep the chips frying just a wee bit longer until golden 😊
Nah. Looks right to me.
No, not necessary
The golden color depends on sugar/starch content of the potatoes. Some varieties will do better at that than others. The process they used with a lower temperature blanch for the first cook then the higher temperature final fry will yield the best results, no matter the potato variety.
It’s been years since I had golden chips at the chippy. My homemade ones are always golden brown. Wonder why they’re all so pale
I'm impressed on how clean it is.
PHWOAH EH? PHWOAH! 🇨🇦
..are you ok ?
I am an owner of fish and chips shop in Australia. I’d say that is so different.
Thanks for sharing! We'd love to hear more about the differences 😊
@FindEatGo Don't have mushy peas or curry sauce and our battered "sausages" are hot dogs. Also burgers, steak sandwiches, potato cakes & dim sims are very popular as menu options
Watching from Portugal👋👋
Love love Fish & Chips❤❤❤
Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
Although I haven’t seen this video before, this is London England, when I was in Europe,it’s so different than being in America, the Streets,Shops and the people, but the English people have a very different accent than the Average American People do,sometimes I try and Speak like them, and they know it,like People from Ireland,Scotland,Italian and Australian, but England is known for their Fish-n-Chips,but Scrod is the Best type of fish to make it,and the English people like Malt Vinegar,me I like my tartar Sauce, and some lemon wedges, here in NYC,it’s standard on most Pubs,Cafes and Restaurants,it’s Not unusual.
That's interesting - do they serve mushy peas with fish in NYC?
Made me very hungry and glad to see the whole process in a shop like that. Can you order it without the skin?
Glad you enjoyed the video! I am not too sure about the skin - maybe Apo will be able to respond when he is next online. Maybe they can remove the skin on request from the customer
No, the skin is what keeps the fish in one piece prior to being cooked. I am not a lover of the skin either all you do is eat the top.laye of batter with the fish flakes under it and when finished your left with the bottom layer of batter with the skin on it. Works fine and is very tasty
A simple menu is great for the workers
Real fresh cut chips and fresh fish can't go wrong. Is it cooked in beef tallow though?? Coz that's the winner for me .
Apo did actually talk about this, but I didn't get it on camera. That area of London has a large Indian community, so if he used beef tallow, he would lose a lot of his customers as they can't eat beef products
@FindEatGo Of course they can; they just choose not to. there's a difference. Beef dripping does give a superior flavour.
I remember in the 1950s buying cod and chips, from my local chippie, for one shilling and three pennies, pronounced one and thruppence. In today's money that's About 7.5 pence. Last week cod and chips cost me £12.50. The equivalent of 170 fish suppers in the 1950s. Let that sink in.
At 1:38 the cheapest meal on the menu is the regular cod & chips for £16.00 !
@Amarikita £1.30 for a pickled onion.
Let’s bring the prices down to 70 years ago… and next week they have to close down.
Even your salary is going up every year.
Why shouldn’t they earn a good salary for what they do?
You take it for granted, in the states you can’t get something of this quality at all.
@victorkan7288 Because almost all food in the US is processed, which is sad.
Holy Moly!!!! Look at those gorgeous deep fried fish & Chips 😭😭 I WANT SOME NOW 😭😭
Most chippys are rubbish now with frozen fish..This one looks amazing. ❤ from East London
Thank you! ❤️
Frozen at sea fish can be better in many cases. There is no telling how long it’s been from the moment it’s been caught to actually served to you. Most use it for a reason, it’s not necessarily cheaper.
Surprising to see something from the 1960's still working perfectly!
I work in US making restaurant equipment. Fast-food places have been wanting to make their fryers automated to such a degree, that we recently made a couple hundred fryers, that are internet connected and the temperatures, timers, are all set from a central control center. Depending on seasons and prices, different oils could be used. For example, if the oil blend contains more of corn oil, the timer has to go a little longer for the first few uses of the oil as it has a little more attached or stuck water content in it, primarily due to the way corn oil is produced (wet milling of corn kernels) vs the way soybean oil is produced (solvent extraction, which doesn't include water). The entire process is so devoid of a personal touch, which I guess is the goal, to standardize the experience across all of their thousands of locations.
Versus this, where the skill and different personal touches of whoever is in-charge of frying, you can feel the difference in the food :).
Wow that's very interesting, thanks for sharing with us. Would have never guessed that an internet connected fryer existed 🤯🤯
This place just sounds so happy.
Where I live we take the skin off , never tried fish chips with the skin on ...
Give it a try, you might like it :)
@FindEatGo Wonderful video you really have a great product and the shop looks great too ❤❤
Thank you!
