Great video! Photography is a process and a journey, continue on yours my brother. My father was film photographer and had his own dark room in our house. When he passed, I inherited his Minolta Autocord 6x6, Polaroid SX-70 and a few other film cameras in perfect condition. I shoot digital but shooting film also is very personal to me. Keep doing your thing! ✊🏾
New sub here. I really appreciated this video, because I am relatively new to shooting film, been in the game for like 2 years now. Feel like i've been experimenting honestly, so I deeply resonate with you on just learning and trying different things. And not doing them because your fave is doing it or whatever, or just to post on instagram. I think social media and photography is a whole another discussion, but I appreciate your thoughts on 35mm vs medium format. Even as someone who would like to get into medium format (i'm starting with 6x6 because thats all i could afford in terms of cameras haha) but I am excited nonetheless to experiment. Being a creative is its definitely not for the faint of heart. I think it's a shame that film has now turned into gear wars, like Leicas and Mamiyas when really it doesn't matter what you use as long as you get the photograph and the story you want. I also have a youtube channel that I just started, check it out if you have the time!

Just to let you know I’ve been loving the recent content. I’m trying out Ektar 100 portraits on dark skin because of one of your videos. Keep it up!!!
Hey thank you fam, I think mostly on dark skin Ektar is the way to go. The picture on the thumbnail is shot on Ektar too :)
