    A real good one is transforming anxiety into 'excitement' ... I'm excited.. not anxious. Tell yourself that, it works.

      Also love that you mention the central nervous system responses of flight / fight [freeze is a relevant one too]. Thanks for addressing performance routines too! I actually have this on a list to create a resource for music families on this topic.

      @@AshleeYoungMusicStudio I was just mentioning that to a student yesterday as there were definitely little musical detours in her playing yesterday, but she handled them like a champ and was still in control of the journey! Such a huge WIN!
