God save the King/Queen was originally the national anthem of the German Empire until 1918. Deútschland uber Alles was originally the national anthem for first the Holy Roman Empire, then the Austrian Empire (before the Austro-Hungarian Empire)

Two German National-Anthems by melody. Chapeau. :D
Very wonderful
Wir vermissen dich. Ruhe in Frieden! R.I.P.🇬🇧🏴🇩🇪
Good drills Germany 👍
Did she speak her native language, german, when she was there?
Who knows?
Back to her homeland!
God save the King/Queen was originally the national anthem of the German Empire until 1918. Deútschland uber Alles was originally the national anthem for first the Holy Roman Empire, then the Austrian Empire (before the Austro-Hungarian Empire)
No.
If only the Kaiser was there to welcome her instead of a republican President.
Than they would have played the same melody twice ^^
@@riebenzahl-524 The German one also contained the Preußenlied.
Excellent Parade!!
Sehr gut!
sehr schön
"Heil dir im Siegerkranz" und "Got erhalte Kaiser Franz". :)
HM the Queen and the last German Emperor are more closely related than many think. The Queen's Great Grandfather Edward VII younger sister Victoria was the mother of Kaiser Wilhelm.
she is of german descend. She is of house Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha but they rebranded the name as they didn't want a ruling family with name of an enemy in WWI. Thus they named it house Windsor.
Actually Empress Victoria of Germany was Edward VIIs older not younger sister
Back home again😁
The immortal Queen that saw Germany change since the 40s
I just felt like the orchestra played Heil Dir I'm Siegerkranz instead of God Save the Queen here (yeah I know they used similar beat) but I felt it's like celebrating both how Imperial Germany and Great Britain were related in some way that I just couldn't ignore. Anyways, that's what I feel
