Unasked for advice from a fellow Megalith enjoyer; if you open up Penciplume and either Hagith or Ophiel always go for the Candoll and search for the imp ritual spell. Helps the deck flow better. Also, end board for a pure Megalith deck should have the field spell and the trap both of which are easy to search for if you loop Hagith (which you can do relatively easily)
Yeah after getting more practice with Impcantations I picked this up. I dunno how often I need the field and trap, I typically do the loop once because 2-3 pops with Bethor are enough in most cases. I have an upgraded version I'm practicing with using a nasty Finisher, but that'll be out in the video.
I'd switch to 2 phul's and 3 hagiths, you already search phul with ophiel. Tho it's very hard to make pure megalith viable after plat 5. If only we got some nutty support I guess.
For the main combo I go ophiel, search phul, summon phul and target ophiel in the GY, use phul's effect to tribute a random level 4 (usually an impcantation) and summon hagith and grab my field spell, activate field spell, summon phul once again but with using hagith. grab hagith from the GY with field spell and search any megalith you want with ophiel (if you were running SRs I'd grab och). Oh and you should summon all your monster in attack when you know you're gonna summon phaleg, you missed a very delicious lethal back there.
I'm slowly learning the loop, but I kinda prefer the loop from ophiel-hagith-Phul. It's less pieces in grave, but it leaves cards to loop if need be a second time. Also, I've seen Och and the hydra excluded a lot, I'm curious (other than names) why I should include them? Not throwing shade, I'm genuinely curious. As far as the Phaleg lethal swings, I'm also trying to learn when to do that as well. But my Mirror Force PTSD kicks in and I get anxious about it. 2011 Yu-Gi-Oh leaves a scar on you xD
@@ghostwithknife416 so the only reason you should run 1 copy of och is if you're using another non megalith ritual monster. It's a quick effect, summons ANY ritual monster from hand so it enables you to experiment with other archetypes. Also don't forget that ophiel and hagith's search effects are soft once per turn meaning you can search as many times as you can if you have the means to summon them however times in your turn.

Add Lv. 4 Ritual Magikey and the counter trap, and you can get a Spell/Trap negate with your impcantation line.
Magikey is a deck I've definitely been interested in....
