When you think that these cars got engines up to 204ps in some markets. There was a time you could get this generation of Kona with a 1.6 Turbo 4x4 DCT 204ps or in an EV form at 204ps. I drove the EV and, if you managed the wheel spin decently, it was a hot hatch basically. It was too small for me so it was never on my shortlist for purchasing but still, a fun car.

@@10mbc the electric version we get is 200 BHP, feels like a hot hatch! But probably doesn’t really handle like one!

Wel brian, did you figure out if the regen braking can be left on all the time and not turn off when you turn the car off, 2024 hybrid kona

@@TheDiablosniper it’s so strange, it turns off every time you turn off the vehicle so I went into settings, then vehicle, then convenience, then eco-vehicle, and then I scroll down to smart recuperation, and it showed an automatic version of regenerative braking, so I thought surely that’s it. It will bring it on every time going forward, but no, it’s still turns off at the end of every journey, so I can’t see a way to override it, unfortunately, sorry for the slow reply, just catching up after holidays.
