Stems are a glorified eq (it uses an algorithm to shape the eq to take out specific sections). If you are good enough with eq (you would have to be really good) you could accomplish the same thing with the eq knobs. The big difference is that using stems is noticable- you would do it as an attention grabbing technique, blending seamlessly with the eq is when you listen to a DJ and you do not know where one song ended and the other one began.......
I just bought back the V10… Can’t help but notice the sound is missing the lush warmth of the mighty Euphonia - what is your knowledge on the sample rate being enhanced to 48000/96000hz in Rekordbox, without it distorting? Is it possible to take advantage of the higher sample rates? Default: 44100 (V10) 48000 (Euphonia)
There is a way and it’s very effective on v10 using the left send effects and it’s really cool. Left send effects on V10 are certo warm, you just need to dig a bit to get right settings ( feedback 0 /+1, time -1, volume +1) and you need to assign a dedicated channel effect (where you can add addootional beat effect). Last but not least, you need to change eq, low cuttet for 3/4, and high pass filter to +3. Sounds intimidating but it is not, once you master it.
Love to see more on the Euphonia Just got mine and haven't hooked it up yet...
That mixer is such a champ! It seems to make stems almost irrelevant in the way it allows for shaping of sound. Heavy duty equipment for sure.

Excellent little fill effect.
Any way to re-create that sound on the V10 with a single button press?
