There are so many criticisms in the comments that I can't find many compliments. But I'm here to tell you that this video, recommended to me by chance, started me on a journey of interest in film. It's a truly beautiful video. I'm sure you thought of as many shots are possible. It's an admirable compilation, and I come back to watch this video a lot.
Nice work. Pulp fiction, American Grafitti or Blade Runner could have found a place in the video too, but plenty of memorable scenes mentioned. Thumbs up!
Great job! What's your process? Do you start with a list of scenes you remember, and then for a few weeks everytime you see a good scene, you make a note of it and add it to the pile? Or do you browse movie stills websites? Or have you written a script that you feed lots of films and out pop the scenes with great colors?
I love you guys but please start adding movie list or something. I only watched 7-8 movies from this clip and I want watch rest but I don't know titles. :-(
LOVED this and all the cinematography videos you do but I was really disappointed there wasn't a scene from any Beatle's movie like yellow submarine, magical mystery tour, or across the universe (all of which are really colorful)... maybe include in a future video? again, love all the work you put in. great job overall
@@softlycinematic if you want to watch pure bollywood masala movie then watch shahrukh khan movies . Direction of Anurag Kashyap, Meghana Gulzar , Anubhav Sinha , Kabir Khan , Rajkumar Hirani . Also watch movies of Rajkumar Rao , Irrfan Khan , K K Menon.✨
I'm wondering, how do you guys find all the specific shots? Is pure research and film knowledge? Btw, do you download the whole movie and then trim it (how so)? Nicely crafted.
if you ever want multicolor shots, just go watch some wes anderson movies... the dude hires the best cinematographers and all his movies are aesthetically beautiful.
If you would like to know the name of a movie, please turn the subtitles by pressing the small CC button in the corner of the video :D
No Wes Anderson?
So you gave in at last... :D
+
Wow, great! Can you do that to the other videos too? It would be extremely helpful.
can you please do best neon movie shots
la la land has so much color in each shot, great cinematography
The Battlefront Grind it's so beautiful, other than the music, the color was my favorite part
So does in the mood for love.
i miss some recent movies like: Grand Hotel Budapest, Interstellar, Avatar, Spirited Away

I dont know which is the best though
also, do one with shots lit only by moonlight
Lmao I didn't expect to see Kingsman in here
G M C I didn't expect to see suicide squad
it's a such beautiful compilation, but I thought that least one of Wes Anderson was there. We need a part 2 :D
I was waiting for La La Land, the cinematography is brilliant.

The life of PI has the most beautifully colored shots to me .
VERY underrated visual film
Flashbacks to that scene where Pi looks down on the bioluminescent water after the whale knocked off his raft.
Wallpaper worthy, probably more.
THANK YOU for including clips from Dred and Cloud Atlas, two of my favourite movies!
this is the video we need to send to aliens.

Dr. Strange's psychedelic cinematography and Ant-mant's subatomic experience, are awesome too
And Guardians of the Galaxy too, both movies, especially the sho of the fight with the moster that spits rainbow in the intro of the second one.
your work touches people to their core in one of the most intimate ways possible. may God bless you.
Another amazing video, another well thought out inspiring video

Gorgeous montage ! Thank you :)
WHY ARE YOU SO TALENTEDDD 🌻🌻🌻🌻💖💖💖😭😭
loved this! surprised wes anderson and mood indigo didn't make it on here!
finding movie names from subtitles is so much easier
Some of them are old some of them are new some of them will wind up when you least expect them to and when they do

Kerem Bueno It's "the guest", if you turn subtitles on you'll see the titles

gaurdians of the galaxy volume 2 is riddled with good shit
There is a scene from the movie Perfume where Dustin Hoffman' s character is transported to an hallucinogenic garden after smelling an amazing scent
i had a tiny sliver of hope that west side story would be in one of these, and... man. worth it
kind of funny, that this song also was used for a Dark Souls 3 trailer.
No suspiria (1977)?
Also the one with the circus in madagascar

I turned subtitles on and it works on my phone, the movie is "All that heaven allows"
Love your work, please keep it up and improve!
I'm wondering, how do you guys find all the specific shots? Is pure research and film knowledge? Btw, do you download the whole movie and then trim it (how so)? Nicely crafted.
in case someone here doesn't know about it, do yourself a favor and watch Only the young by Brandon Flowers. If it were a movie it'd be here.
I do wish the original Suspiria had been on here in some form...
I feel like Into the Spider-verse would’ve made it into this had it been released before this video was uploaded
Where suspiria?
I love your videos very admiring
I was expecting “the tree of life” may there in this video
If you put subtitles on you can see what the movie title is
Edward scissorhands would've matched so good
The first one was a mindfuck.
Beautiful song. Who is it?
Where is the Quantum Realm from Ant-man or the Doctor Strange scene?
A Ghost Story has some amazing shots.
What's the movie at 2:49 with the exploding tree?
I'm 10 months late, but that movie is The Fall, directed by Tarsem. One of the most underrated films of all time in my opinion.
@@elenaj3779 the fall is great
Good but have you seen A Matter of Life and Death (Stairway to Heaven) and Black Narcissus? ☺️☺️☺️❤️
one of my favourite movies if it counts as one is disney fantasia 2000 just because all the colours
