It seems like more of a communication issue between them... Emily is kinda stuck and trying to work out their own feelings about their body with all friends they trust. While Heather took it as someone needs to fix something and be accountable. It would have been nice for Heather to just say "I can see where you're coming from, but all of us see you as beautiful." or A group hug would have worked too
