Now that I think about it, Yusaku technically took two tries too because the first time, revolver interrupted with a trap card
AMV Noobie Actually Revolver stopped him from summoning it. Yusakus already acquired it from the Storm but Revolver didn't want to be on the receiving end of Firewall, so he made the duel a draw so he can fight on even playing field without speed runners
the speed duel and master duel were basically two parts of the same duel XD

i hope Vrains make some kind of link summoning similar to accel synchro. The potential is there since links and synchros are pretty similar.

Yea, so excited to see what monsters Yusaku summons, although the new summoning reminds me more of XYZ Rank up than accel synchro
Yeah, but it *does* give some hope - especially as I've heard rumor there will be *ALL* the different kinds of Summonings eventually. VRAINS has the first Ritual Summon in the anime since Gx. And Yusuke - the main - did it.
I hope those rumors are true, but until there is more evidence, i'm not gonna get my hopes up. Where did u hear these rumors btw? I never heard about this. Oh also, ritual summoning did show up in Arc-V. Still a nice touch to see it in VRAINS though

Holy shit. I thought the individual videos were good... Side-by-side is.... there are no words in the English dictionary for it since perfection is the closest and that falls flat. (Since to me, perfection *can't* exist because perfection is imperfect - no room to improve introduces stagnation and decay so there must always be ways to improve.)

I agree, but at least in arc v, there was an explanation for the legacy characters to show up (although it was still kinda random) Maybe in vrains, a hacker shows up and creates avatars for legacy characters?

Awesome video! Kudos to you, and props to Yugioh for improving their self rip-off skill. Zexal ripping off 1st YGO was outright trash. ARC-V to Gx was okay but failed on ending. And here Vrains to 5D is greatly accurate. Hope they don't screw the ending like ARC-V
Wow! Thanks for the compliment! Although I agree that Zexal was lackluster in the first season, I thoroughly enjoyed the barians arc. I thought the three way fight between Astral, the Barians, and Don Thousand was really interesting. I agree with you on Arc-V. No comment on GX since I have not finished watching the series. 5D's was a good show, but even it has it flaw, especially with how they treated Akiza's character after the Dark Signers Arc. So far I think Vrains has done a fantastic job balancing the characters and hope they keep it up and surpass 5D's.
I hope vrains is going to be as good or better than 5ds

I knew I wasn't crazy you guys see it too. It took me a while to realize it but they've repeated everything from the main 3 series and made it into a younger version.
I mean Kite was so obvious reference off of Kaiba
Reiji off of Zane because they have different type Ace monsters
and now Vrains is a total rip from 5Ds
It's getting harder to say that Vrains is a rip off of 5Ds with the way season 2 is going. Revolver, who most of us assumed is based on Jack, has yet to turn to the "good" side and is likely to not return for a while. Moreover, he seems to have multiple 3000 atk ace monsters, whereas Jack only had Red Demon Dragon.
Both were pretty good but let's face it, vrains got the idea from 5D. Yusei's summoning of Shooting star and Quasar dragon will always be the best imo.
I agree! Those two are my favorite summonings in all of yugioh! Maybe I like shooting star a bit more because "Clear Mind" is such a great and powerful song.
Maybe there is some inspiration from 5D's, but I don't think that's a bad thing since 5D"s was a good series.

after 2 childish protagonists we get another serious 1 and yusaku seems like 1 of the best protagonists so far only time will tell if he stays like this
Me too! I think Yusaku is showing a bit of character development based on how desperate he was to save ghost girl
Now that you think about both Yugi and Jaden started out as childish protagonist then 3rd we get Yusei and Yusaku with serious mature characters. Zexal is like a spin off of Duel Monsters, Arc V = GX and now Vrains for 5Ds seeing the many similarities each of the 3 series has.

I doubt that they will repeat this pattern, and even if they do, it is not a bad thing. Zexal and Arc V still turned out to be unique and interesting series. I am sure VRAINS and whatever shows come after will also offer something special
Vrains has such a weird spectrum of quality, season 1 amazing, season 2 absolutely shit, season 3 which is like 4 episodes is peak yugioh storytelling

I love the ost as well! If you are asking for the name of this song, it's "Clear Mind" by Masaaki Endoh. All the osts for Yu-gi-oh are "Sound Duels" if you were asking about the ost in general.

So true! But to be fair, I think Firewall Dragon wasn't too broken when it first came out due to the limited card pool of link monsters to abuse Firewall's effect.
