Lol! North is fine too! One thing I learned from my time in the Army is that those in power in no way speak for the average civilian. Many great people in N.Korea, S.Korea, Iraq, etc.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! You are literally amazing at explaining things and I am so thankful for your videos right now as I transition to critical care and am feeling totally lost! Lol.
Thank you so much Sarah for the kind words! It makes me happy to know that I was able to help this make sense for you. Keep up with it. It takes time but it will get better!
Your videos have helped me so much! I am a new grad working in a cardiac ICU and a lot of our classes were cancelled due to Covid. Thank you so much ☺️
So happy to hear this Emily! ☺️ I can only imagine how tough that had to be with classes and clinicals with this pandemic! Wow. Really happy to know I have been able to help in someway.
I didn't realize I was following this channel but I'm so glad I am! Your content is so informative and well done. Thank you for your help! I will definitely be keeping a closer eye now that I've found this great resource
Good basic review. I prefer the femoral v. approach for its ease and because it doesn't "contaminate" the neck or infraclavicular areas for permanent system implantation. The T and Ta waves reflect repolarization. The reliability of the temporary electrode can be enhanced by analyzing the endocardial electrogram which can be recorded at the bedside in seconds using the bedside monitoring equipment. Atrial overdrive "suppression" is very useful in converting atrial flutter. There are some situations in which bradycardia is much more safely treated with urgent TV pacing than with atropine. Unfortunately those are most often disclosed in hindsight.
Thank you so much for uploading these videos! I'm currently in my ICU program and because of covid, our classes are all online. Your videos really help make complex subjects easy to understand! More power to you!
This is so great to read and a big part of why I keep making these videos. I'm so happy to be able to help while you are dealing with such a difficult beginning to your journey.
I was hoping this video would be followed up with a pacemaker failure video to cover failure to sense, failure to fire and failure to capture. Thanks for the content. Great job.
Yes! Thank you Eddie for doing a video on temporary pacemakers! Please tell me you plan on going into more detail about the transvenous and epicardial pacers? Like how to use the MA and sensitivity or scenarios?
Of course! The next lesson will be on modes and settings and talking about the differences between single and dual chamber pacers. Then the last lesson will be some trouble shooting. 😊
Bro you are a total crack, master, profesor, keep up that good work. Yo have help me a ton. I am a first year general surgery residente and I love these icu videos. Love you never end this!
Hi! Can a pacient be three weeks with a temporary pacemaker? Should the cardiac activity reduce (as I saw my dad on pain, confusion and difficulty breathing when he had his temporary pacemaker)
Lol, theres always some people who don't like these videos. I get it. They aren't perfect. The overwhelming major seem to like them though so I'm happy!
Thank you so much Nattasha! I appreciate your support! To access the notes (sorry YT doesn't make this easy to figure out), go to the "Community" tab from the main ICU Advantage YT Page, then look for the most recent post with the link to the Dropbox and the current Password.
Thank you so much for making this video! It's really helpful and direct to the point 🥰 Sadly, I missed this part from my training lecture since my stomach was rumbling a lot though i'm not hungry at all (idk why it does that) 🥲 I was so worried that it'll make a loud noise that my fellow trainees would hear it so I wasn't able to concentrate at all nor paid attention to class anymore 😭 it's just sad and embarrassing. Anyways, i'm glad i've seen your video. It really helps!
Thank from Korea, of course south

why you added "of course" south?
@@kubilaytimur8594 because they have internet :P
@@kubilaytimur8594Because North Korea has essentially no access to the outside internet, just their own internal network/intranet
Thank you for taking your precious time to teach nurses.
It's truly my pleasure!
